If you like your pasta with lots of fatty, salty pork, this is the place for you. A small, family run restaurant where the staff were enjoying a meal of their own cuisine when we arrived for an early lunch. We ordered one pasta with pork, and one pasta we thought was with cheese, but which came with lots of pork pieces as well. Pasta was well-cooked, and we appreciated the opportunity to experience Umbrian cuisine. Service was OK, though with less English than we were used to. With mineral water, no coffees, 25 euros all up.

Wonderful Umbrian food - every dish we ordered was delicious but the highlight was the service - our waitress Cristina was the best. Pasta's and veal, steak and pork all good choices. Many Italian families enjoying the food - pure theatre as well as food enjoyment.

These guys are cheats, and use exchange rate for converting exchange rate from EUR to DKK even though EUR was selected, and could not have them convinced this in wrong.
Furthermore complete unorganised servings, one course came when all others were finished and instead they had much more time serve their own family on neighbour table.
Avoid this place as food is average and expensive.

I visited Assisi and I went to lunch to this very nice, cozy restaurant nearby, in Santa Maria Degli Angeli. The food was amazing, you can find a lot of typical Umbrian dishes. The service was also excellent, the nice waiter Francesco was really entertaining! Prices are affordable and the location is nice.

We were really hungry, and we wanted a quick place to eat. so we stopped here and ordered kebab and hamburgers.
The bread is crunchy and tasty, the meet is has a great taste.
For 6-7 € you get a great , tasty and lovely meal.
Highly recommended!

We had a beautifully landscaped garden window table overlooking The Basilica of San Francesco. Between the sunset, the view, and the amazing food...it was perfection!!!
We had a delicious caprese salad, and delicious lasagna!! This small family restaurant was fantastic, the food was so flavorful and we look forward to visiting again!!

This gelato bar is amazing and it had the best Fior di Latte gelato I've tasted in Umbria! We went back straight away for more!!! All the other flavours looked delicious too and they had quite a lot of flavours. Go there if you're in Santa Maria degli Angeli or passing through from Assisi - it is easy to find a park nearby!

This place made the top of the list in Assisi because the food, ambiance, and service were of excellent quality. Roberto the owner was so nice and we chatted about his inspiration for the restaurant while having a coffee. I really hope I can visit this place again in the future cause I need to do a beer tasting!
