It was a great meal at a reasonable price and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We have no hesitations in recommending it.

Villa degli Angeli is an ancient villa situated in the center of Santa Maria al Bagno, a wonderful village of Salento. It was built in 1894, it has a big garden inside, enchanting terrace with sea view, mosaics an a nobiliar caracter. The villa is located 30 metres far from Santa Maria's beach and few kilometres from other wonderful marinas in Salento.

Reviewed By elena644Questo b&b si trova in pieno centro a Santa Maria al bagno, a due passi dal mare ed è un ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare le spiagge e le città vicine, sia sia nord che a sud. Si tratta di una villa antica con un bellissimo giardino interno in cui la mattina è servita la colazione. Questa è stata una bella sorpresa perché l'anno scorso ci si doveva recare al (comunque vicinissimo!) bar Piccadilly. Appena arrivati ci hanno consegnato una carta sconto per bar/locali convenzionati e, fin da subito, i ragazzi che la gestiscono si sono dimostrati accoglienti e disponibili. Di sicuro la loro presenza è un valore aggiunto! Abbiamo soggiornato in due doppie, di cui una "superior" con vasca idromassaggio. Le camere, così come i bagni, sono molto puliti e luminosi. I letti davvero comodi tanto che sembrava di dormire a casa. Cercando il pelo nell'uovo ci sono alcune cose che potrebbero essere migliorate (ma visto che è aperta da poco, di sicuro sarà così!). Lo spazio dedicato alla colazione, ad esempio, è un po' ristretto: nei giorni più affollati si stava un po' strettini ed è un peccato visto il grande parco a disposizione che potrebbe essere sfruttato anche per il b&b oltre che per gli eventi/mostre che lo stesso ospita. Una delle nostre camere non aveva gli abatjour ed entrando si sentiva un leggero odore di muffa (lasciando la finestra aperta però molto meglio). In bagno sarebbe utile avere un piano d' appoggio in più (magari anche dentro alla doccia). Nel complesso è stato un soggiorno davvero piacevole e consigliamo questo b&b a chiunque voglia godersi le località più conosciute del Salento che sono davvero a due passi!

Delusione… poteva andare meglio
Reviewed By glori84Location accogliente e molto carina, posizionata in una zona tranquilla e strategica per poter raggiungere le località vicine (Gallipoli, Santa Maria di Leuca, …) ma anche quelle più lontane come Otranto. Signora delle pulizie molto gentile e disponibile. Noi abbiamo soggiornato per 15 gg e abbiamo avuto però delle difficoltà logistiche con l’appartamento: - cucinino molto piccolo con limitato piano di appoggio (non sapevamo dove mettere la spesa); - non c’è un frigo da casa ma due mini frigo (riuscivamo a fatica a mettere le bottiglie d’acqua); - il tavolino da pranzo lo abbiamo trovato all’esterno, nel “giardinetto”, ma senza un ombrellone o un riparo per poter mangiare fuori - il bagno è ristretto con la doccia a muro senza una porta/telo di chiusura (si allaga parte del bagno), non era presente la luce (dei fili penzolanti) né degli appoggi per sapone e bagnoschiuma - un piccolo armadio a due ante con all’interno un porta vestiti a ripiani mezzo rotto (quelli dell’ikea) Durante il ns. soggiorno è successo che per due mattine di fila non avevamo l’acqua corrente: impossibile farsi la doccia, colazione o prepararsi qualcosa per la spiaggia. Ho scritto alla direzione ma non ho avuto nessun riscontro. Per fortuna la signora delle pulizie è stata molto carina e disponibile. Una terza volta ci è successo la sera… questa volta ho scritto molto scocciata, rammaricata che nessuno del Residence si prendesse cura dei Clienti. Mi hanno risposto che loro non sono mai in struttura, comunicano a chi di dovere… mha! Questa mancanza di “umanità” rapporto da parte dei Titolari non mi ci è piaciuta per nulla.

Reviewed By Aurelie GWe stayed at Antonella's in July 2013 and it was perfect. The rooms are nice, clean, with air-conditioning and a great italian shower. Antonella was very friendly and helpful, she even gave us a small lunch when we arrived as we were famished and lent us bikes for free :) We liked very much the collective breakfast which enabled us to talk to the 4 other guests & Antonella and to exchange information about what to see in Salento.
