Reviewed By CusacklWe were at this hotel for a wedding and it was amazing. The staff is attentive and helpful, the grounds are beautiful and it is well appointed (close to sorrento.) We had a junior suite that slept 3 comfortably with a 2 sink bathroom and porch. We had most excellent service from Claudio and Pina; and Giuseppe will take good care of you at the pool! Room 193

Perfect, really was perfect
Reviewed By joanne hStayed with my partner and son over easter, we had the suite to get extra space for three of us. The description of the room did not do it justice. Two large rooms and a massiive private terrace area with outdoor furniture. Trying to find a family room at a sensible price is so difficult this surpassed all our wishes. I would describe the hotel as boutique, it was beautifully finished with modern design and had a totally relaxing feel. All the staff were amazing and so helpful. Breakfast needs a special mention, no buffet. All served fresh to order, local ingredient's and the best oranges ever from the garden. I think the location is better than all the sorrento centre hotels as the most important thing is to be near the train line. It is a couple of minutes to the station. The town centre has bars and places to eat and you can visit places in either direction on the whole coast. thanks for a fabulous stay.

The staff were amazing but a special shout out goes to Alessandro, Monica, Concetta, Maria and last but not least Raffaella! Raffaella you made our stay so enjoyable. You worked so hard to make everyone so happy. Hope one day to return. This hotel is special. I highly recommend.

Reviewed By bubskioisReally lovely hotel overlooking Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. Stayed here as a couple for one night at the end of our trip along the Amalfi coast. The staff are fantastic - they moved us to a superior room when we arrived and also gave us free mini bar access (nice to have a glass of Prosecco on your balcony!). There’s a lovely little pool on the rooftop and they also do a regular shuttle bus to the train station which is super handy. Would definitely recommend staying here to friends and family

Needs attention to basics. All front and no substance.
Reviewed By Mary BThe bar and lounge areas have been refurbished, so first impressions were good. BUT, basics need sorting out: it is a case of "hunt the power point" in the bedroom - we found 2, including the one in the bathroom, so bring a multi-point adaptor for recharging your gadgets. We had a washbasin tap that dripped/ran throughout our week's stay. Plus points (after reading previous reviews,) - the air conditioning in our room was fine, and although builders were working opposite, there was no undue noise. The staff in the dining room were rather sullen and not particularly friendly. An abundance of fresh fruit in the markets, but on offer at breakfast only tinned fruit and some mediocre looking oranges, apples, pears and kiwi fruit. If I was vegetarian I would have been concerned about the shared tongs for the cheese and cooked meats. The set evening meals weren't great, and service was a bit rushed and sullen. (Recommend Il Ruttino down the road.) Wifi a bit hit and miss - in our room we only ever had a 2-bar strength, whereas others in our party had good coverage. Lovely garden at the back, full of orange and lemon trees, but the hotel hasn't really used this asset - access via a fire door round a corner in the reception area.

Great stay for our honeymoon
Reviewed By 645louwWe stayed in room 5 for 1 week end of May/beginning of June '22. The room and bathroom was spacious, beautiful and really private. Although not advertised at the time of booking, we also had a cute terrace which was an added bonus. Breakfast was a little basic but was tasty enough. The gardens were stunning and sitting on a sun lounger beside the pool surrounded by lemon trees with smooth jazz playing softly from speakers was a definite highlight! The location was a little tucked out of town (around a 25 min walk from the centre of Sorrento) which was nice to be away from the really touristy areas. Our only suggestion would be for the hotel to consider providing a shuttle service a few times a day to the centre, as the walk was tiring after a day of sightseeing on foot. Thank you to the staff who couldn't do enough for us to make our stay memorable, we will never forget the wonderful time we had there.

Reviewed By 363LynnTSmall room with small shower, only storage was a small wardrobe no drawers, kettle but no cups. Extremely poor breakfast- stale bread, cold scrambled eggs, awful tea. Pool area very small only about 4 beds in the sun, roof terrace with no shade. No bar price list, not always someone on reception. Collected from bus drop-off point in a dirty car, dropped off for bus pick-up in the wrong place! Only a few staff understand English.

Reviewed By Miranda CWe had a great stay at the Hotel Angelina. Our room felt recently updated and everything was clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. We would definitely stay here again!
