Reviewed By infoR7933LFOne of our stops back packing in Guatemala, we stayed two nights. Nice clean and friendly staff. Close to center and lots of restaurants close by. Also fairly close to take the boat to Santiago. Very close to tour operators.

Reviewed By Greg GNice people, known family in the city. and Cheap and basic set up for budget travelers. Nice view on the lake and closer to downtown! Only annoying thing is that the internet is not stable... I would go again at this hotel.

An authentic Guatemalan stay with a lovely family!
Reviewed By Emma PA simple but comfortable and clean place to stay in San Pedro. 10-15 minute walk to the centre and we preferred that. A 2 minute walk from the hotel down to the lake. The family who run the place are really lovely and helpful, staying here gives you a real feel of local Guatemalan life. In terms of value for money it’s got to be unbeatable in the San Pedro area. We really enjoyed it and would stay here again!

Reviewed By helelleA really nice hotel with a great location and for the price it was large with a private bathroom. It had hot water but unfortunately very little pressure. The staff were super friendly so no big complaints. I just can't give it 5 stars because the windows are single pane and don't shut that well so the town noise is crazy loud all night. I would still recommend this hotel and would stay again, just remember your ear plugs.

Hospedaje Lolita's is a friendly, clean and quiet budget hotel located just a 2 minute walk from the main street of shops, bars, Spanish schools and restaurants.We offer reasonably priced dorms, or single, twin and double rooms with hot water, wifi in the rooms, a terrace with a hammock and a communal kitchen. We offer discounted rates for longer stays on the lake. Your home away from home!

Reviewed By W.D. BGood location. Hammocks and patio are nice. The Owner's daughter was very helpful, smart and pleasant. The view from the rooftop is great if you try not to see the mess in the neighborhood. This is not a terrace yet, but it's gonna be nice when finished. Works haven't been completed yet, I suppose. No balustrade or fence. No chairs upstairs unless somebody left one. The whole structure seems to be constantly under construction (I mean the works stopped or the progress is slow). My room was clean, but the walls didn't seem fresh. Bad smell at night may occur when the weather changes. The opening in the bathroom/room wall might be the reason. No credit cards accepted. I had the impression that the Owner asks for money too frequently and treats me as a potential fraud. She is nice and for the first time I thought it was a joke, but it was repeated. I understand it, but... Some issues with water in the building may also occur. I'd refrain from touching anything in the kitchen.

The hotel Cabaña del Arco is located in a suburban area of San Pedro La Laguna, 5 minutes far to the center of the town by "tuk tuk" (local transportation) or 25 minutes walking If you like relax, quiet, safety, natural area at local nearberhood, this is your ideal home at Lake Atitlan zone. We have acces directly to the lake, yo can do kayaks, snorkel, swim in the lake, or simply rest over the hammocks taking sun, read a book or drinking a cold beer... Our rooms have a beautyful lake view, private bathroom with hot water, free wi-fi, and cable TV. If you want go outside to the bars and restaurants zone, we have tuk tuk drivers to pick you up here, and come back a few hours after, far away of the noise of the town and enjoy a relaxing athmosphere.

It is nice to have beauty, but add the kindness and laughter of staff and other guests and it feels like home. ❤️ them all. Special thanks to Fausta for making sure my coffee was "just right."

You get what you pay for, but vibe not great
Reviewed By JDCMCTYou get what you pay for. The price is right for the place, but I didn’t like staying there at all. Staff disappeared quite frequently, I got stopped once on my way in and asked if I had a reservation after I checked in and I never heard as much as a thank you from anyone there, including when I crossed paths with the manager on my way out with my bags. The pool was always quite busy and forget about the jacuzzi, no chance. But that’s how these things are. There are a couple of permanent residents l, they were friendly. I was put in a room that barely had any light and bathroom window was broken. It was always cold inside. In the room next to mine there was a guy who just had dirty dishes, laundry, empty plastic bottles, all stacked up outside his room and on top of a table.. that was quite disgusting and I doubt anyone told him anything. I woke up with people talking outside at 7am too. The place is clean, the price is right, all you see in the photos is true. But the vibe was terrible, one of the most depressing hotels I’ve ever stayed at, would recommend if you have company and want to save up.
