Very elegant decoration and extremely friendly staff. The food is very nice and creative but mostly with local and regional ingredients. The wine list is very elaborate and with more than acceptable prices. Will definitely return here!

Stopped for lunch. The restaurant is very clean and modern. The grilled calamari pink pepper was excellent. Also was the carpaccio with the fresh artichoke was amazing. However, the highlight was their Calabrese Pizza served with mozzarella, ricotta, zucchini and a wonderful salami from Calabria called âNduja that was placed perfectly and not too much as it is spicy but with just an incredible flavor. Similar to the taste of Harissa. The pizza crust was perfect and paper thin. Service was friendly. We were the only non locals. It seems to be a locals restaurant.

We stayed for one night at the hotel and decided to eat in the restaurant Sopra della Mura. A smile and a welcome from the waiter and waitress, a complimentary glass of prosecco and a small dish of pear and cheese got us off to a good start. We selected a Morellino di Scansano a Tuscan red perhaps less well known by many that the Chianti or indeed the Brunello, but every bit as fruity, rich and satisfying. To start the tagliere with a good mix of meats and a very moorish sweet pepper chutney, so we were cheeky and asked for some more. For our mains we both had the fillet of beef with a Chianti and sweet and sour onions, with a side of sautéed spinach. The meat was very tasty and tender; the sauce was tangy and rich. No room for dessert so we polished off the wine and went for a short stroll around the town. Lovely evening.

Olivieri Bistrot just looks great as you walk past and invites you in - crisp tablecloths, great lighting and plenty of tables outside if you fancy dining al fresco.We were warmly greeted and sat outside - there were only two waiting staff but they made it look effortless and the service was great.Generally, portions sizes were generous and we could have each shared the starters we ordered, cold meats / cheeses and three of us the salted cod, and all were fabulous.For our main course a couple of us went for the tagliatelle bolognese (again lovely), pasta with salmon and the prawns - again clean plates for us all. This was all washed down with a couple of bottles of Brunello di Montalcino.It is a little on the pricey side compared to similar meals that we had elsewhere (285 Euros inc service) but it was a lovely meal and we would be happy to return.

Do the tasting menu for a full experience. There are two amazing restaurants in San Gimignano, this one and Cum Quibus...and they are within steps of each other. If you have 2 nights, you will not be disappointed with both. This is the type of meal you are hoping for when you are a foodie visiting Italy for 3 weeks!

My husband and I visited San Gimignano for the first time and for one night only - this was a perfect restaurant selection... we enjoyed veal appetizer, lasagne,wild boar and traditional vegetable/bread dish ... atmosphere was beautiful and Andre our waiter was very helpful . Unfortunately we were too late to get a table outside but inside was very nice also - local Chianti was excellent - recommend this restaurant !

We sought out this restaurant, based on reviews, for our last night in Tuscany. We are so glad we did! The service was friendly, the food very nice and wine reasonably priced. Steak is their specialty and was great! We had the mixed platter, spaghetti pomodoro, fillet steak and tiramisu between 5.... everything was devoured! Grazie per la sue recensione, lieti di aver soddisfatto le sue aspettative ci auguriamo di rivedervi presto.

The food is simply amazing. Everything we had tried very delicious and presentation of each dish is fantastic. Portions are small, but after 7 of them (plus 2 more from the chef) you feel more than satisfied. The staff is nice, very knowledgeable, good English. Wine list is super as well, and they have very good wines available from about 100 Euro per bottle, to a few thousands. The night before we had good dinner at Enoteca Pinchiorri, dinner is good as well, but you canât find any bottle of wine cheaper than 300 euro. Over all we enjoyed food at Arnolfo more than at Enoteca Pinchiorri. Very well deserved Michelin stars. The staff at this lovely hotel are very professional but friendly. The restaurant was very popular with locals as well as the guests staying here: the service was excellent and the food spot on. Our room was not huge but the shared terrace with the terrific view of the Tuscan countryside was. We loved our stay here and it rated as one of the best of the eight hotels we stayed in on this holiday.

We found this wonderful place here at TripAdvisor and decided to have a birthday dinner there tonight. The food, drinks and service was excellent. We had an aperitif, a starter, pizza, wine, dessert and digestif. Everything was perfect.
