This is placed slightly away from the normal bustling area of Bangkok. As expected the service is very very good. Chef makes every effort to make the guest feel their palate is on the Manu. What a mindblowing meal! Quite out of this world. I have been to Nahm, Gaggan in Bangkok, but interestingly it is the humble dinners at Siam Tea House that I enjoyed the most! So much that we came here 2 times in our short weekend stay. The last night we headed to Thiptara at Peninsula hotel and wished we were back at Siam Tea House for the amazing Thai food and flavours. We were so glad we discovered this and had initially thought it was like a hotel candy/pastry shop... glad we ventured further in and discovered the tiny restaurant at the side. Every single dish was beautiful presented. The spring rolls were served w edible flower buds and morning glory, and the bbq Thai ribs was served over charcoal! But the crabmeat in coconut sauce dish was so amazing with its appetising sweet and savory sauce that we couldnât help raving over. And ordering it again. The crabmeat curry was soooo good that I am still dreaming about it. Finish off with mango sticky rice and you are in heaven. What a meal. Next time I am in Bangkok, I am willing to travel all the way here for their food. My husband had visited Thara Thong many years ago and was keen to go again during our trip to Bangkok. So glad we did!The restaurant space is lovely and authentic (traditional seating and cultural entertainment.)Our server Areesa absolutely made our night perfect. She was very attentive and helpful throughout (even going as far to fix my daughter's busted zipper on her jumpsuit! ;-) It was nearing the end of our trip to Thailand this was a great way to finish our holiday. We even got a belated birthday song and cake for our daughter which was a surprise as we hadn't organised anything - very sweet.The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Everything was tasty and perfectly seasoned to our preferences - we like spicy which I found most Thai's cautious to give Westerners but Areesa made sure they provided our meals as requested and it was perfect.I would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.

We had a reservation at Praya Kitchen. We arrived a bit early and then waited for 10 minutes while the hostess, Sain, was on the phone and waving her hand in our faces. We tried to get the attention of another member of staff who only redirected us to Sain - still on the phone - who refused to acknowledge us or serve us. We were there for a birthday and honestly our night was ruined. Horrible service.

We had a good breakfast here. There are variety of local food with international food being offered here too. The room is huge so no need to worry about finding a seat. #kelvin is the staff that waited on us.
