Reviewed By lorne954The One Salina Cruz offers a modern, clean and well managed hotel at a very nice price point. It's located nearby a Walmart in case you need to pick up supplies for your trip. The place is quiet and the free breakfast was excellent. We'd definitely stay here again.

OK - but would not stay here afain
Reviewed By HawaiianStyle808A newer hotel that loves its shiny tile. Rooms were clean and spacious with A/C. There is a pool area with food service. We had one meal here and that was enough - quality of food was poor and service was atrocious. We stayed here one night as our normal hotel was completely booked.

Lovely hotel
Reviewed By Adriana GSalina Cruz is not a tourist´s destination. If by any chance there is a need to visit the city, this hotel is a real Oaxaca corner. It also have a restaurant and a charming pool. The staff is lovely. The hotel is close to the main square, it is worthy to take a walk around the neighborhood.

Reviewed By mathildemercier2019After tne night, a man called me in my room to threaten me. It was 23h. The reception had let it call him in my room. I was completely afraid and my company asked a safety company to come and I am now in mexico city. No safe! No possible to eat inside. No recommanded for foreigners. The hotel recognized the mistake and was OK for not paying this night but I am not sure it will change.

Reviewed By LeavingHollandIt is a small hotel, 2 stories around a central courtyard. The rooms are so nice. They have 2 areas, one to sit and work or eat, and another area to sleep. Lots of starage space, nice bathroom. But it is so outdates, all of it. If they would only upgrade the rooms, renovate a little, fix the electrical wires. Redecorate the bathroom, buy new towels.........it would be an amazing place. The gate is closed, they open it when you want to leave or want to get in. The parking is next to the hotel and is huge, gated and with pebbles. There is free water and coffee, a microwave and fridge,int he public area. they sell softdrinks. I liked my room, I liked the quietness of the place, unless the old lady came in who talks loud, swiotches ont he telivision upon entering on high volume and starts talking non stop. The lady who cleans is very nice and friendly and she cleans these old rooms amazingly. I have respct for her way of working. For COVID, there are rules but they do not apply much for guests, they have no gel upon entering, the wet mat is dry, and they covered the remote controls with plastic. They sometimes wear facemasks, but are not consitant in the rules. They know nothing of general local regulations that could be interesting for guests. Upon checkout I noticed that a supply truck had broken the clutch of my motor, they had hit my motor when entering the parkig area. I was very upset. The hotel paid the price of a new clutch after some arguments about liability. Which was very nice for their parking rules say that they are not responsible for damage. Good wifi, Good hot shower, good moder split unit aricon, nice firm matress, not such nice pillows. A bit far from everything, but manageable.

Reviewed By BakioI've stayed here seven times and have never been disappointed. Every year the owners seem to make upgrades that make the experience more pleasant. After a long day of exploring and surfing the areas' point breaks and beach breaks, the beachside pool is super refreshing—as are the margaritas whipped up by expert barman Emanuel. The staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful. If you want to take off to surf an hour before sunrise, your driver will happily be there and ready to roll. Dawn patrol breakfast is a self-serve deal, but if you sleep in the kitchen staff will be happy to whip up a hot breakfast to your desire. Lunch and dinner are always tasty Oaxacan specialities and the chef invariably steps out of the kitchen to drop by your table to make sure you are muy contento. However, keep in mind that this is not a luxury resort of the sort you'll find in Cabo San Lucas. Not fancy, rather, the rooms are simple, clean, safe, and air-conditioned. It is a low-key beach hotel where the luxury lies in the wonderful staff, the insane waves, and the incredible beach location. I really, really love spending time at Punta Conejo Resort!
