The staff were friendly and helpful it’s spotlessly clean and has a very warm atmosphere , from the music to the open fire in the lounge the whole place feels very relaxed . The spa is a great addition although it’s not included in the price and the only after ski sauna is in the spa

Reviewed By R0s18Very beautiful and cosy facility. Staff is nice and welcoming, especially for us travelling with a 1-year toddler. The restaurant of the same owner is highly recommended. Very tasty breakfast with homemade cakes. We are frequent costumers every time we go to Rivisondli.

Reviewed By Ray RHotel was well kept (clean) and front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size as compared to other shoe boxes in Europe. Very comfortable. WiFi was available. Small bar for light cocktails (I recommend the Aperol Spritz). Great location, bank and Pharmacy next door. Very short walk to the center of town. Check out the local eateries. You may need to practice your Italian a bit, but everyone is very helpful. There is no AC, but you're so high in the mountains, the evenings are pleasant.

Fantastic experience
Reviewed By megjanoMy husband and I travelled to Rivisondoli in search of family history. It was May and no hotel except this one responded to our request for a reservation in their "off season". It appears Relais Assunta Madre opened just for us! The mayor (who owns the hotel) was very welcoming and polite. He took us to the local cemetery to help us find what we were looking for. It was a beautifully maintained cemetery! I was actually able to find the graves of my great-great-great grandparents and there were actual pictures on the graves! He also led us to a family owned restaurant that took wonderful care of us for dinner. Although there were few English speakers, the staff were eager to help, happy, and welcoming. The hotel is beautifully maintained and "clean freak me" was right at home! We slept well in the room. The hotel staff set up a breakfast for us of several locally baked cakes and fresh fruits along with tea/coffee/yogurt etc. It was quite a beautiful little setup. They set that breakfast table up just for us. They checked us out and as we packed up the car they locked up the hotel. Confirming once again that they had opened just for us. I am so grateful for their generosity and kindness. My whole life I had planned to make the trip one day to Rivisondoli to see where my family is from and it was such a lovely experience, in large part because of the owners and staff at the Assunta Madre. The next day we stayed in Campobasso (a larger more modern city) and that city was far less welcoming than this little historic town! My husband's family was from Campobasso and I actually felt bad for him because he didn't get such a great experience there, where as we were treated like welcomed friends in Rivisondoli.

Excellent hotel in excellent location
Reviewed By FabWithSmileI spent a week with the family in Hotel Como, excellent base for a snowboarding week up the local slopes of Monte Pratello. The rooms are bright and spacious, with adequate toilet space - with the only downside of slightly dated room furniture. Food is of very high quality, notably with typical local homemade dishes, with the possibility to choose between two or three different options. We had good wi-fi connection to our room (in line with what hotels generally offer). The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the skiing area both in the morning and at the end of the day. All staff were kind and happy to respond to our needs. A special mention for Luca, the receptionist who also drives the minibus to and from the slopes: in a couple of occasions he came to collect us immediately after our call.

Nella camera da letto ci sono due armadi e un piccolo terrazzino, la cucina funzionale e il divano letto comodo ma ad ogni movimento cigola, 1 bagno con la doccia molto spaziosa. All interno dell appartamento tutti i gestori telefonici hanno problemi di linea ma non è presente il wi fi. Comunque per chi fa soggiorni brevi lo consiglio in quanto molto comoda la vicinanza al centro e proprio di fronte c'è un parcheggio spazioso dove si trova sempre posto. Staff accogliente e appartamento molto pulito
