The staff cannot do enough for you and we celebrated our engagement yesterday with a private meal in their private restaurant for special occasions. The food was outstanding and the staff serving us! The gentle man who serves us our dessert was brilliant, they made it all in front of you which was a lovely touch. Already looking forward to returning to this hotel in the future

Great hotel, great location
Reviewed By HappyHols630This was a lovely experience from beginning to end. We had a park view room which was spacious. View was limited to a treed area to the side of main hotel but this didn't matter to us. Breakfast was terrific on the large sunny terrace, Eggs, crepes, pancakes available to order and a wide range of breads, fruit, cereal, cake, juices, meats, cheese etc. While waiters would bring you coffee if required you could also get your own. Sparkling wine was also available if that's your thing. The sparrows were a bit of a nuisance at times but also entertaining and that's part of the open air eating experience I suppose. The gardens pools and restaurants are very well kept and you're free to grab a lounger and sit at the pool or find some shade to relax. The Capannina Bar/Restaurant, beside the main pool area, was great for drinks and lunch. Waiter service to the pool area would have enhanced the experience. The resort runs from the main street down to the lake front - so you also have the option of a lake swim within a few minutes walk from your room. Sailing du Lac, while not part of the hotel is attached to the grounds and you can hire bikes, sup, kayaks there if required. Housecleaning was great. We had a hairdryer replaced and staff checked back with us to ensure we were happy. A drawer that had come off its rails was also noted and fixed without us having to report it. The only very minor negative was that there were not proper cups or glasses in the room. Maybe this was due to previous covid regulations and had yet to return to the usual arrangements. We don't think that we would look anywhere else if returning to Riva. Grazie Mille.

Lovely restful hotel

Our room was fairly basic but nothing to complain about, the pool and spa are lovely and we had 2 treatments which were reasonable value for money. What absolutely makes this hotel exceptional are the staff - so friendly, all with great English and who cannot do enough for you. The breakfast selection was also really excellent. Would recommend

Attractive 4 stars Hotel (B&B) with excellent facilities. The reception area, beautiful garden and excellently appointed rooms welcome you into an ambience of discreet and relaxing calm. Park with palm trees and Mediterranean vegetation, terrace for your rich breakfast or drinks, garage, SPA, outdoor pool, rooms and luxury suites with lake and mountains views. Private path to the lake (150 mt), about 1 km to Riva old town to reach by the lake promenade.

The location is perfect and the free garage is very convenient. The breakfast is very good with a nice selection and fresh orange juice. Nice option in Riva.

Superb Hotel
Reviewed By chrisbC5857IZI am writing this review on behalf of my wife who is disabled so it is from a disabled persons point of view. The outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi which were both heated had railings for support which aided my wife so well to get in and out of the swimming pools. The lifts to go from our bedroom on the 2nd floor to the ground floor had plenty of room for me and my wife with the wheelchair. To get to Riva it takes about half an hour from the hotel and it is suitable for a wheelchair because it is relatively flat and a lovely walk beside the lake to get the ferry to visit other lakeside towns. The staff on the ferry are very helpful by putting a ramp to aid getting on the ferries. We booked this hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary because we came 6 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff made our anniversary so special by making a special cake and a bottle of Prosecco presented to us at our dining table for the evening meal and also the manager Mr. Tonelli gave his congratulations to us which was a nice gesture. The bed was on the hard side for my wife but by going to reception and asking for a topper mattress they duly did that straight away so no matter what the problem is they will do there best to help you. All of the staff made our holiday extra special so a big thank you for your hospitality.

Great location
Reviewed By Neil RWe stayed a week at Hotel Sole. Room was exceptionally clean, smelt fantastic when we arrived and throughout out stay. Good Wifi Signel in our room. Staff where friendly and helpful. Great location. Stunning scenary and great town. We booked halfboard. Food was plentiful. Great choice for breakfast. mostly continental which was more than fine for us. Evening meal was 4 courses. Mains was a bit of a let down as the meat was too dry and very salty! However when ordering we did ask for no salt to be added which helpped alot. Showing that the food is freshly prepered. Bar, pizzeria and icecream parlour (gelateria) on site all resonably priced. lots of other resturants around so choice is plentiful incase you wanted to eat away from the hotel. Roof top sun terrece which was 2 floors and onsite small spa. The area does have a lot of kamikaze cyclist who will expect padestrians to move aside for them. Hateful people!. Other than this we enyoyed our stay at Riva del Garda

A treat after Covid!
Reviewed By AislingM584We were in the Grand Hotel Liberty, Riva del Garda in April with the Travel Department. It is a lovely hotel in the heart of Garda with a real sense of old world grandeur. We choose to go half board and were very glad we did. Dinner in the restaurant was great value with excellent service. I am not a vegetarian but don't eat fish or much meat so I usually went for the vegetarian options each night. This was some of the best vegetarian food that I ever had by a creative chef who obviously took pride in the art of presentation (see photos). You must try the lemon pasta if you get a chance! I also loved the breakfasts as they had a great omelette chef and a lovely terrace if the weather is warm enough (for Irish people it usually is!). I would also have to say that the staff at reception looked after us very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again!

Reviewed By Mei LWe were welcomed warmly at Residence Centro Vela. We asked to upgrade our room when we checked in and the staff were very accommodating and went out of the way to help us. Love the hospitality and the clean, tidy environment. We stayed in Block A and the rooms were clean and perfect! We had an electric car and charged it at the underground car park with no issue. Highly recommend staying with Residence Centro Vela!
