Beautiful boutique hotel, with room for improvement
Reviewed By WorldwidelostAfter check-in we went to our room above the reception. The looks of the room are good, stylish decorated. However the room itself is probably smaller than an average walk-in closet! No space to put your stuff away, therefore living from the suitcase all the time. The rainshower works perfect. The mattress is a bit dirty, (stains allover), probably as no protector has been used. Furthermore the mattress is way too soft and too small for above average height persons. Food in Esan restaurant is really good and tasty. Also the waiter, Gregory, who unfortunately quit, added to the positive vibe. Prices of restaurant food are fair. Prices of the (pool) bar are too high. Staff working during breakfast was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately this can’t be said about the receptionist lady working during daytime. Every request seemed to be too much asked and resulted sometimes in useless discussions. Maybe she can be sent to a hospitality course, that might help. Overall location is good, nearby the center and plenty of restaurants around. Unfortunately at this moment a lot of noise from adjacent building activities.

Love love love this hotel
Reviewed By Shannon BI came here with 5 of my friends for a hen party and it was so lovely! The bedrooms were very clean and the air conditioning was great, the staff was so kind and helpful and were quick to respond to any requests we had like book taxis, reservations for restaurants or any extra things we needed for the room. The cocktails and food were delicious and all made fresh and reasonably priced. The pool area was very clean too. The internet worked well in the rooms but not so much by the pool but that was fine. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more, such a hidden gem.

Very cheap, very central, very nice people
Reviewed By PaulvewIt cost me a mere EUR 30 a night but I see from this site that I could have got it cheaper here. Only drawback - it's in the old town which is a horrible tourist trap. Avoid Rhodes altogether and if you must visit stay in the old town and just stay 1 night.

I was never this sad to leave hotel staff
Reviewed By Dušan DI have spent two weeks in Helios with my dad, and while I have been in places much longer and in countries like Thailand which is known as "The land of Smiles", I have never felt so welcome and never felt sad to leave the hotel staff. Maria, Dimitri, Eleanna, Manos and Viktoria have been simply the best hotel staff I have encountered and I will genuinely miss them. But I want to leave a special shoutout to Viktoria, who took time to sit, chat and drink beer with me and gave me many great tips where to go, and even a little Greek Nutella-like present last time we talked to each other :-) Without them my stay in Rhodes would not have been as fun. Absolutely fantastic people that I've even become friends with and if I ever come back I will stay again in Helios only because of the staff! They just raised the bar on how hotel staff should be! Oh yeah and the hotel is great.

The Residence Family & Fun, set in two blocks and separated by a small public road, has recently undergone a complete renovation and promises a new experience for the demanding holidaymaker. Set on the green and lush north-west coast of the island (100 meters from the public pebbles and sand beach), 8 km from cosmopolitan Rhodes New town & the historic Old City, 900 m from the lovely city center of Ialysos with various gift shops, bars & nightlife supermarkets & restaurants, 11 km from the airport.ROOM DEFINITION: One bedroom Apartments (2 – 4 persons): the completed renovated and tastefully decorated apartments have a separate double bedroom, combined living-sleeping area including kitchenette with two electric rings, fridge, individually controlled air conditioning, safety deposit box, television set, bathroom, balcony or terrace.

Reviewed By danceforeverGreat location and helpful staff but this is where the joyride ends. Run-down property, stained, old furniture, no hot water - not even warm - for an entire week! A/C just blows air without cooling. No cups, glasses, cutlery in cupboard. Musty smell with water damaged walls and peeling wallpaper. Instant coffee only at breakfast. No spoons or bowls for milk and cereal. Pool water, lounge cushions dirty. Food OK, nothing spectacular. Had to ask for everything. All of the misery is not the staff's fault but sadly they had to listen to the complaints. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else. This hotel has no business in receiving any guests.

The apartment Nektar is so nice. Comfy bed, clean, you have everything you need - and a beautiful view from the bedroom window. I will come back next time in Rodos. This place feels like home. <3
