Wasn’t what we were expecting
Reviewed By Ailsa VI’ll just dot point issues we had as I don’t like to leave negative reviews usually: - you definitely need a car or a bike to get around... it’s a long way from anywhere - water went out one day so we had to wait overnight for someone to come fix it - the fridge was broken so food we bought went bad in the heat and it took a few days to fix. In the end the bought in a new one after sending a technician twice. Just swap it out in the first place! - they wanted me to replace 2 forks that were apparently missing after our stay! - they came early to check us out so we had to rush and leave early. There were three of them and they just came in and stood in the loungeroom until we got ready rather than coming back at the agreed time - they came earlier than notified to clean so we weren’t ready and so they didn’t clean the apartment. They didnt top up towels or toilet paper. - there is nothing in the way of food in the kitchen, not even tea bags or salt and pepper! - curtains have a lot of mildew on them and the rooms smelt musty - the staff around the hotel weren’t very helpful or friendly. Can’t recommend staying here. Although I think each individual apartment is owned by individuals rather than the complex so I think it could be that we just got a bad egg! The environment was nice and I can see that it has potential to be a nice place to stay.

Phuket Riviera was the ideal spot for us (family of three with baby) to arrive. Everyone that works there was super kind and helpful. Well before we arrived they helped us with all the requirements we needed. When we got there we arrived to a clean two bedroom apartment overlooking the pool in the perfect location. We know Phuket a bit as we have been many times and Nai Harn area is the best for families with the nicest beaches. This hotel also allows dogs if you got one. The room we had included a highchair and crib which was the icing on the cake. To give one example of how helpful they are, I left my charing cable in the room. When I called to ask, they sent it that date by post and did not even charge me for the post. We will be back!

The villa was clean and comfortable and we had two bikes to use which we enjoyed. The pool area was very pretty and peaceful. Our hosts were extremely helpful with guidance before we arrived to Thailand using the test and go scheme to ensure we complied with the regulations. They were also very helpful and kind when we arrived by helping us to order food (lots of options) whilst waiting for our covid results and ordering taxis etc. Thank you for having us!

Clean, quiet place close to shops
Reviewed By Karen RSmall resort with about 10 apartments; mix of 2 bed apt (sleep 4 to 6) and 1 bed (sleep 2 to 4). Checkin 9 to 5pm. Good sized clean pool. Around 10 sunbeds but always some available. We had 2 bed apt which was very spacious with balcony. Good a/c and fams in all rooms. Laundry and jacuzzi on site with small xtra charge. Few mins walk to shops n restaurants. Would need taxi / bike to beaches at ya noi, nai harn or ao sane. Taxi stop at end of road. Apt cleaned every other day. Found staff to be friendly and accomodating. Bbq on site too; book at reception to reserve if u want to use.

Definitely a great place, especially for kids
Reviewed By Russell BI read some of the negative reviews of this place and was a little anxious about how our stay would be. I think most of the villas are more or less the same, some have a bit of garden (not a massive amount of space, to be honest) and some have 3 bedrooms rather than 2, so the bad reviews worried us. However, from the initial contact with the reception staff - very friendly - to the overall cleanliness and care taken by the staff, I think this is a great place to stay. Yes, you have to sign off an inventory, but then you have to pay for damages or losses in hotels, too, so I can't understand why people would complain about that. The only difference is a small deposit but we were fine with that. The villas are clean, the kitchen area really well equipped, and details such as the decorations, free bikes, washing machine, make a huge difference to the overall experience. While we were there a couple of things went wrong and the staff responded and fixed them within minutes. Others have also complained about the breakfast provided. We thought it was great. Lots of choices, fresh coffee machine, both western and Thai food (definitely something we want, and I'm sure others do, too), fresh fruit, and decent pastries. There was nothing to dislike unless you're really fussy about what you eat. Our daughter, who's almost 3, loved playing in the play area and the pool. She didn't want to spend hours in there, but we thought it was distracting enough for her each day, and she always wanted to end the day there. The free activities such as drawing and face painting were wonderful and I hope these continue. I do agree with some comments that maintenance is needed on some of the equipment but it's fine for a short time. There's only one complaint we would make, and this has been addressed elsewhere. The steps in the pool are made of compacted small stones, and these are definitely coming loose and can cut your feet and legs if you're not careful. I believe this has been mentioned enough times so I'm sure it can be resolved soon. But I guess it means draining the pools and closing the villas while it's done, so it's not going to happen overnight. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, were impressed with the accommodation and facilities, and would recommend it to anyone with children who want some distractions without having to go far.

Reviewed By DevikaA45We are a group of 12 who have booked their largest villa - the six bedroom for 3 nights. We are all vegetarians - and have just checked in. After 12 hours of travelling , we just requested the team to prepare a vegetarian meal for us - and they blatantly refused without even trying with the chef. We are at their restaurant and they don’t make the most basic change as removing egg from an egg Fried rice ( the only vegetarian dish )!. I have also spoken to the manager - Fredrick and requested but he simply refused for everything. You come to Thailand for the warm hospitality and service - which is completely lacking here. You obviously expect basic vegetarian options when the world is stepping towards vegetarianism - and even if they don’t have options , they should atleast make an effort or try. We haven’t checked out the villa yet - but this is the first hour and it’s been completely disastrous and harrowing after hours of travel. Judging by the service at the reception - the first feel of this place is terrible and not recommended.

A bit of a walk (ten mins) from the main road to Rawai but well worth it. The hotel is still being added on to and I am sure will continue to be a big success

Reviewed By ZEBIGBOSSVilla au fond de l’impasse, à gauche. En bordure de forêt, l’endroit est calme malgré que des travaux soient en cour à l’entrée de l’impasse. La villa est organisée autour d’un vaste séjour/cuisine, et deux chambres en satellites, avec chacune leur salle de bains. Climatisation fonctionnelle, TV HD, lits confortables, plaque de cuisine halogène. La piscine n’est pas très grande, mais suffisante pour se rafraîchir. Notre gros 4x4 a trouvé sa place dans le parking privatif. Globalement, c’est bien pour le prix hors haute saison. Penser à consigner 5000 bahts pour le caution, restituée à la sortie. Un passage de ménage en 5 nuits passées, il faut le savoir, cela nous a beaucoup déçu. Nous avons dû racheter des verres convenables, un couteau qui coupe, et une poêle que nous avons laissé tant celle sur place fait peur. Les parois vitrées des douches sont pourries de calcaire, comme les robinetteries. Comme toujours en Thaïlande, l’entretien est un point noir, et de ce fait, les villas prennent quatre ans tous les ans. Un dernier mot pour Emma : « it smell » lorsqu’on fait l’état des lieux de sortie, c’est grossier mais typique de la finesse que l’on rencontré souvent en Thaïlande. Même si vous le pensez, il n’est pas interdit de le taire, non ?

We built our unique eurasain style villa in 2008, with great attention to architectural detail.We are located near the village of Sai Yuan, which has a good variety of restaurants, shops and bars in a quiet area and just 5 minutes drive to beautiful Nai Harn beach and Phrom Thep Cape and within 20 minutes to 5 other beaches, comprises of a 2 bedroom each with King size beds and ensuite bathrooms , 3 bathrooms luxury villa, with western style kitchen and bathrooms, livingroom, diningroom, private salt water swimming pool, cable T.V., DVD player, WI-FI internet access, safe, air-con and ceiling fans, and pool cleaning and maid service.Other services available at The Majestic, include car and motorbike rental, taxi service, laundry service, in-house massages and tickets for day tours ( Boat tours to the many surrounding islands.)And nightly local culture shows. ( Phuket Fanta Sea and Simon Cabaret.)
