We stumbled on this place by accident. It has some of the most amazing views in Jaisalmer but despite that remains a personal, friendly, family run restaurant. We arrived at 12.30 and left at 3.30 having had one of the most fabulous meals. We had cuddles with the owners 3 month old daughter and whilst there's a wait for the food you really don't notice it. We ordered thalis which were the best we've ever had, freshly cooked and utterly delicious . We love this place and thoroughly recommend it.

Little café in Jaisalmer fort with excellent views of the town below the fort. Sanjay is also extremely friendly and helpful. Didn't have espresso but it is well worth a visit if only for the views and conversation with Sanjay. It's pretty hidden so here are the directions: take the first right after the museum entrance and walk till the end of that street where you will find some steep steps. Climb them up and you'll be there. Enjoy!

We were waiting for our train at the railway station on a cold freezing night (about 5-7 degree Celsius) with minimal space in the waiting room and damn hungry. N this guy agreed to deliver hot, tasty, fresh pizzas at the railway station like a savior. He delivered good food as promised in record time. This is a real find - a street stall near the banyan tree serving unbelievably good dosas at an extraordinarily good price. Don't let the slightly disreputable location put you off. I've only tried the masala dosa (for a magnificent 50 rupees), but there's a comprehensive menu available. Comes with a really good sambar and a coconut chutney that I could drink by the bucketload (there's a water filter on site, so don't be wary of the chutney). And Rinku is such a friendly guy (note that he donates his first batch of dosas to the local cows every evening). There's nothing negative to be said - cheap, quick food, pretty wholesome for street food, fun to watch it being made, tastes amazing, and probably the best value meal you can get in Jaisalmer.

We had dinner here and really enjoyed it. Pristine restaurant overlooking a pretty garden with fountains. Tables inside with air con or candelit outside. Very friendly and efficient staff who gave us great service. All the food was excellent especially the tikka paneer starter. Also loved the garlic, cheese nan bread and the aloo gobi. Highly recommended.
