Reviewed By Craig LWe stayed here for five days over Christmas and cannot rate the level of service high enough. The hosts are brilliant and arranged ski equipment, passes and took us to the slopes each day as well as picking us up. Nothing was too much trouble - we simply cannot recommenced the accommodation or the generosity of the owners enough.

In this country, where pension, b&b and similar are the most common types of families getting out for the weekend, this is an excellent addition to the hospitality arsenal Korea has. I have been hearing about the concept for quite some time now, and Riverhill was a great choice. Apart from Pyeongchang and its natural beauty, the concept just completed the experience. Located on a hill, looking over a wonderful river, Riverhill is a great place to visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful, big plus, and not uncommon here. Clean, spacious, very well equipped. We had a 2 bedroom lodge, one room and bathroom on the first floor, and room with toilet on the second. Huge living room, separate kitchen, big refrigerator. Floors are heated, easily controlled. You can get your BBQ started by your host with a small charge, and its Korean BBQ time! It was raining almost the entire 3 day stay, and we did not feel like our trip was ruined. You simply dont want to leave the lodge. One negative point for me personally was, the bed was to hard to sleep on, but that is my experience everywhere in Korea, its simply different, probably better for the body (not sure on this). If you are traveling in this area, check it out, you will love it!

Beautiful accommodation with an amazing host
Reviewed By y1q1nWe had a wonderful stay here as the pension turns into a winter wonderland during December. The room we've got is very spacious and clean with heated floor so there's no need to worry about the cold. The owner is very friendly and we received incredibly good service and recommendations which makes us feel really welcomed. He is also very acommodating and offers to drive us around for food, to the train stations and ski resort as the pension is situated up on a slope.

Reviewed By Bart VClean rooms, owner was an older lady with limited knowledge of English but very helpful, she was giving good tips on places to visit and restaurants to eat, we enjoyed our stay at his small pension! We had a bigger place, including a bedroom / kitchen, Korean style bathroom and a living room / sleeping room Korean style (where the kids could sleep on the floor).
