Amongst the umpteenth dhabas claiming Amritsari Kulchas as their speciality, we chose Brothers as they were close by and came highly recommended by family and friends. And we were not disappointed.Although Kulchas are served only till 12 pm but as we landed in Amritsar after 1.30 pm and walked into Brothers at 3, they were good enough to serve us. Crisp and piping hot kulchas with chana, curd and onions, make for the most scrumptious combination. Lassi wasn't that great but the paneer bhurji with lachha paratha was superb.Coupled with very friendly service and helpful staff, you just can't go wrong. Highly recommend.

One glass of the famous Gian Chand Lassi, and you are set for the day! Made by churning curd, sugar and with dollops of white butter and cream added, it tends to be a little heavy, but then, we are in Amritsar! You may try the Peda Lassi, which is made by churning peda and curd instead of sugar and you really wonât need to eat anything else! Cool and soothing, the Lassi is a must have. Donât get confused as there are 2 shops, side by side of the same name. Opt for the original one. Better to take an Uber or an E rickshaw to get here.

We loved this place so much for its Kulchas that we visited twice in our short two day stay. We also got a few Kulchas parceled for our flight back. Only downside is that they are a bit unorganised with respect to queuing and table management.

Simple wholesome tasty food reasonably pricedThey have no menu only fixed 4 types of kulcha available Modest seatingBut the kulcha is to die for crisp flaky filling great Accompaniments are unlimited Loved their paneer and gobhi kulcha They have 2 storied seating Sometimes you have to wait for 10-20 minutes to find a seat Also try their lassi Priced 40-60 per kulcha So definitely visit when near the golden temple

This shop offers a wonderful selection of sweet desserts at reasonable prices. All nicely packed into boxes if you want as gifts. Would be nice if there were tables and seats, but there is only stand up tables at the front if you want to âeat inâ. Excellent shop with sustenance for the sweet tooth.

And when it comes to Amritsar, it comes to food itself. talking about food over here, Fairfield has Kava Grill and Lounge â a luxury dining experience.Being from Amritsar, I consider myself to be lucky enough to be a guest at the Kava Grill and Lounge for the Punjabi food festival â an occasion where Amritsar meets Lahore. The flavors before independence. The flavors of undivided India.One of the finest seating arrangements I have ever seen. Not only all the guests were welcomed very well but the fact that there was a seat reserved for everyone already add points to this place.Tried almost everything. Every starter was just too perfect. Desserts were even better. The food quantity was unlimited to us as being a part of the buffet. However, the food quality (main course) did not match up to my expectations.
