After trying out literally every diner in the area (including Puerto Chacabuco), Isla Verde takes home the gold for best restaurant in the Puerto Aysen Area.
Great meat and seafood. If you really wanna get your money's worth ask for the Paila Marina (only 4,000 pesos or 8$) and you can finally get that real southern taste you've been searching for.
I had heard this place was too expensive for what it offered, but after trying out all the other restaurants (including the hotels) I can say this is the place to get your money's worth. I'll definetly be back.

I ate here 3 times spread around my week in Puerto Aysen, and every time both service and food were more than agreeable. Given the ambience is not fancy or even homey, the menu is nothing to brag about, but the meals are plentyful and the quality is at least just as good as any other restaurant in the area.
Visit if you're looking to save yourself a few bucks but don't wanna yield on either quality or quantity. Safe option!

Delicias del sur, aquí la comida es chilena pero buena, preparada como en el sur, con manos llenas de cariño y aliño. Abundantes y deliciosa. Da gusto sentarse a la mesa con comida caliente y una estufa a leña para calefaccionarte por fuera. Buena comida, buena atención...vayan. Estuve allá el año 2000 y 2010.

After we tried few restaurants, we arrived in this one. And we came back every day during our stay...
Really good cookery, new menus to discover every day. It's really much more healthy than what we find lots of times in this region.
Furthermore, it's cheaper.
Four small tables, welcoming crew, you feel nearly at home!
Of course we recommend it!

Nice, little cozy restaurant inside the hotel. Wonderful food - fresh and healthy ingredients - prepared in innovative ways. Fish, lamb, meat and delicious salads. A good selection of beverages too. Very nice atmosphere (ambience, decoration, music) and very friendly staff.

We found this cafe by chance spending the day here as part of our cruise itinerary. It was so cold we stopped for a hot drink. The hot chocolate was amazing, so think and delicious, you drink it through a little straw. We also had morning tea with some cakes as it was so cozy and warm there. Free Wi-Fi was great and the service was also fantastic. A must visit, highly recommended.

Muy buenos los platos del menu: completos, sabrosos, abundantes y económicos.
Frente a la plaza, con area recreativa para niños, buen servicios, comidas frescas.
Recomiendo pedir los platos de la zona: pescados a la plancha con papas. Agregan una entrada de sopa y alguna ensalada.
