30 of us descended on this lovely local restaurant for dinner one evening. They catered brilliantly for such a large group, despite the restaurant being full. Varied and extensive menu on offer with kids size portions if required. Staff were on hand, friendly and helpful. Grazie mille per le belle parole arrivederci a presto grazie di nuovo

Never make a judgement based on the place where a restaurant is located. Especially not in Italy where you can find some of the best restaurants in the countryside and not in the city. Trattoria El Bagolo is one of those examples: situated in the small village of Sona, this trattoria knows how to amaze its clientele. We called it 'food made in heaven.' The linguine with black summer truffels, the 'carne battuta al coltello (steak tartare), the dolce. Everything fresh and tasty. Very friendly owners and the menu card changes following with the seasons. Excellent wines.We were lucky enough to have dinner in the beautiful garden. But in off season the trattoria is warm and cosy.

My wife and I visit Bussolengo, Italy every summer to see our friends. We had another outstanding dinning experience at the Fucina Restaurant. We really enjoy the excellent menu choices, service and atmosphere. The owners are always present and very friendly.

Situated high above Pastrengo, this fort of a restaurant overlooks Lake Garda and wine country. The inside is stunning brick with the design coordinating off little rooms with the hall. This is a large restaurant, apt for parties or just a few people. Busy place. We had the menu di Terre. Very good, especially the raw beef. Wine menu was a bit limited. Plenty of easy parking, follow signs to restaurant when heading to Pastrengo.

Nice food, pizza, pasta, rice, but also meat and fish. Big portions. It's more for business-lunch or -dinner. The quality, taste and amout of food is really good. Also nice wine-list. Parking in front. Recommendable, absolutely.

Excellent food, great service, outdoor and indoor seating. great wine list! We ate there twice and it was all very good. The building in which it is situated is very interesting, part of the complex of the Villa owned by the Quaranta family. Excellently prepared fish (octopus, seabream) combined with a good wine. Count about 40⬠pp for a primo, secondo and a desert with a nice Soave and a bottle of gazzata. Those with a keen eye will certainly remember the decoration: medieval paintings, many mirrors against the wall and the ceiling, some rather erotic sculptures. The toilet left an impression on my son, as well as my wife (Remember âThe Shiningâ and REDRUM).Note that this Osteria is open on saturday noon time. The wifi is strong. The service efficient, maybe a bit chilly. We need to go back to form a better opinion. Again, not an issue since the food is worth it!

Probably this is a family-oriented restaurant, and this explains why there were so many kids screaming and running around like maniacs. I am not against children if they are well-mannered, but when it is too much it becomes annoying for the other guests trying to have dinner and trying to exchange a normal conversation. Food was overall good, a bit over-priced, but what ruined everything was the atmosphere. Not to try if you see kids running around...
