Highly recommend staying here

Reviewed By Bijal P

We only stayed here for one night as we had an early flight the following morning. Roberto was an amazing host! He picked us up from station, he dropped us to the nearest bus stop so that we could get into town (via bus no 5) and also dropped us to the airport the following morning. He was very accommodating and a fabulous host! Our room was also very clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel. Its also very close to Marco Polo airport which is an added bonus.

Agriturismo Antiche Mura

A surprising haven of tranquility and comfort

Reviewed By Jo D

As we had an odd day to spare at the end of our holiday we searched for local hotels around the Jesolo area. Many were uninspiring until we spotted this little gem not far from the centre, and only 30 mins from Venice Treviso Airport. The fact that it was a working farm and ‘Agriturismo’ venue, (I.e. you typically stay with the owners on site and eat their produce at meals.) made it all the more attractive. The place is actually adjacent to a preserved archeological site, I.e. the ‘Antiche Muro’ or ancient wall. The grounds and land are extensive with a picturesque driveway up to a large secure parking area next to the main building. It was much bigger than we expected. The reception area is adjacent to their large restaurant and breakfast area, all very rustic, with lovely home made produce for sale. Our family room was on the top floor, had 1 large double bed, a single and set of bunks. (See pics). The standard of furnishings and finishes were high, with everything immaculate. A good first impression. A small fridge was also provided, along with complimentary water. Toiletries were given, and the room had a TV and aircon. The bathroom was also rustic in feel, and although the ‘power shower’ cubicle was adequate, it was a little tight and restricted for a family of 4-5. The silicon sealant could have done with renewal, but overall this was minor in comparison to the high standards throughout. Breakfast was a buffet style, in the lovely vaulted restaurant area, served until 10am, with all the usual self service fare, I.e. cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit, cakes/pastries, tea, coffee juices etc. Optional dinner was an interesting affair, (as they farm ostriches and donkeys on site), so although the menu looked quite adventurous for €30 per head, the kids felt odd at eating the donkey they saw outside, so declined! However, the quality of the food looked great. Pros Convenient and picturesque location Relatively cheap for a family of 4 - €120-150 per night including breakfast Friendly hosts Well looked after and immaculate Cons Limited food options for kids We would use again

Ca' dei Molini

Event businesses on weekend, worn matress/frame and noisy at daytime

Reviewed By joe1968

I can't understand the good reviews here? Yes there is a big pool and the appartments/rooms are not the usual Agriturismo simple low level but: - specific times of the day traffic in the "troughfare" street is heavy - you can't relax at pool - on top the own gardeners do cut the grass with 2-stroke gasoline machines which make not only hell of noise but also stink horrible - neighbour cut grass on Sunday.... - mosquitos are coming out in the evening - hotel can do something against this but they just don't care - limited opening hours of pool - our bed (room "Caccia") was worn - woke up with back pain - breakfast to be pre-ordered but scrambelled eggs are cold (made hours before) - better leave it! - the weekend parties for external groups are not really disturbing except that you won't get a seat in the restaurant (which seems to be good!) and your "free" parking will be blocked when you return from external restaurant. Parking outside the garden is also possible but of course the party guests have priority... To summarize: more event business, good for 1-2 nights, don't expect too much relaxation. Low value for the quite high rates, breakfast below average but can't be opted out... I regret very much that more and more of such "hotels" called Agriturismo focus to weddings, birthdays and other anniversary not to the official agriturismo idea (farm holidays). Legally they need to prove that they are "selling" homemade food - here it's the tomatoes from the own garden what they use for the for the insalata mista and some herbs - come on! Can't recommend, won't be back - unfortunately there are not too many alternatives in the area closeby....

Agriturismo Rechsteiner

It's a nice old agricultural building at nice quite place with beatiful view to mountains and the wineyrads around. They have also their own food resources or domestic zoo for children. But after visiting some agriturismos i expected a bit peasant furniture and room equipment. Seems like a from hotel. See also my restaurant review.

Agriturismo Dune

Dune Agriturismo is a Be Yourself place, where you'll find relaxation, passion and nature ... there's something to awaken all of your senses both day and night. Dune Agriturismo Relais (15 rooms + restaurant) is located in the country side between 2 touristy villages, but completely out of the fray where it is extremely quiet and relaxing between the sea and the open countryside. It is a small exclusive holiday vacation Resort. Our Farm-Restaurant is highly appreciated, because has a simple and tasteful cuisine: vegetables, fruits and herbs come straight from our garden and greeenhouses. We also have our own Limousine cows, for meat, and our vineyards for white and red wines, to better enjoy the meals. DUNE Agriturismo Relais is a newly restored 1930's Vacherie, the only Italian Farm House on the coast with private beach, swimming pool and restaurant, where you can find relax, tasteful typical dishes and wines made of our earth products...

Italy is much more beautiful than this

Reviewed By 830alessandroz

I stayed at Dune with my family for a week, in the Summer of 2021. There is virtually no beach, please beware of that. There is a fence that separates the premises from the sea, and instead of a beach there is a series of massive steps of concrete going down to the water. The owner is extremely concerned with his expenses. He was even counting the slices of ham to put in the plate while serving the breakfast! Honestly, I was quite appalled by this level of stinginess. And there was not even a kettle in the bedroom. The payment arrangements were not the same for all customers. I have been asked to pay the full cost in advance (which I did), but then I came to know from some other customers that they did not have to do that. I found this behaviour unprofessional (also their reaction to my complain about this disparity was not taken professionally). The nature...well, the place is a nice infrastructure, but it is put in between the ugliest beach you can think of, and some reclaimed lands used for agriculture. I cannot recommend it.

The brothers Michele & Gianni plus their wives and children who help make it a wonderful family run place. The food is excellent and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. Notwithstanding Covid 19 we found it as good as before. We came by boat so the moorings are fine, either near the farm or in the canal nearby. We have been annually for about five years and it is consistently good.

A wonderful countryside B&B. Convenient to Chioggi, Italy (only 5K away) and Venice (30k)...we had nice outings to both during our visit. Our hosts were great; room was nicely appointed; daily breakfast included home made breakfast breads. The daughter is a classical pianist. Great location. Would love to go back!
