The only thing better than the freshness of the ingredients and the flavor of the dishes is the enthusiasm and welcoming attitude of the host! That was a true pleasure and the branzino al sale was the best I've ever had. A 'go-to' place every time we are in Varese!!! Thank you for the amazing experience

I was the first time in this Restaurant, that's very nice. All was very good and I can't tell something about the price, because i was invited based on a business dinner.But what I can say is that the waiter has room for improvement as follows:He was very exerted to explain me all the food in English. That was very good.But there were served a lot of food we didn't have odered (but without to pay additional, which was naturally OK) and he didn't ask me if i like it or not. I refer herewith on the 3 crabs and the oysters and it was not possible for me to eat them. Maybe good but too strange for me to eat.From this Point of time he ignored me deliberatly regarding to top up my glasses (wine and water) and that is in fact an effrontery.The 3 Points instead of 5 is only because of this situation.

Ate here with friends and although the restaurant is attractive, the food excellent quality albeit iin small portions and the service prompt there was absolutely no warmth on the part of the staff. We were given the impression they were doing us a favour by serving us. For a restaurant this expensive in a small town like Varese clients should feel more welcome.

Hopping over into Italy from Switzerland, we had been looking for a Restaurant with fair value to price ratio offering Pizzas. Asked locals in Malnate, they pointed us this way. This Restaurant fits the bill perfectly. Pizzas from EURO 6,50 to 8,00. Pizzas were perfect, wafer-thin bottom, straight from the oven, extremely quick service, more than two pages of choice just the pizzas. They have meat and fish as well, as seemingly also wine. Did not try any.Comfortable atmosphere, not low-class, white table-linnen, linnen napkins, upper-class context.Very polite service. Drinks not that cheap, a can of Fanta costs EURO 2,50, but the overall experience was worth it.Note: This restaurant seemingly does not usually cater to tourists. We did only note Italian guests, no foreigners, apart from us, of course (German expats living in Switzerland). The staff thus only spoke Italian and Spanish, but communication with hand and " feet" and a smattering of Italian and Spanish was absolutely sufficient. Suggest that male members of your party come with long pants if in the evening, other guests were not casually dressed. Seems they take credit cards, we paid cash.

One of the best meals I've had in Italy was at this ristorante. Father / Son Valbuzzi chef bring their Valtellina region influence of northern style cooking into their kitchen. The ristorante is situated next to a cave that used to carve rocks which were used for sharpening knives in the past but now provide for a unique area for dining during the summer time. Their food is authentic, organic, fresh and DELICIOUS! Try their Lardo nostrano con castagne, Pizzoccheri (typical pasta from Valtellina) and their thinly sliced meat cook on a wooden stick. It is delicious!!! I can't wait to go back there again.

Sempre da lode. Ci torno spesso e anche gli amici che ho portato con me sono stati entusiasti. Vi consiglio lâantipasto pugliese per cominciare. Io ho preso una puccia con polpette che ho finito fino allâultima briciola!! mi viene fame solo a pensarci... gnam!

It was the second time that we could afford this fancy restaurant at the outskirts of Varese. One of the reasons was definitely also the fact that they offer gluten-free food/pasta but the main reason is the high quality of the food, the service, how the table is decorated, etc. Only when being seated inside, you see that they would need to improve a bit the interior (for ex., wall painting).The food is definitely excellent, the service perfect. What should we say more: if you know a bit how to distinguish ordinary (good) food from extraordinary (good) food, then you should try this restaurant. It is worth the money (though you have to leave some amount of it ...).

We went to the restaurant on Sunday evening with my husband and 2 friends, We had an amazing meal, Not a huge menu which to me is perfect,there was plenty to choose from but not too much to confuse a person. The meal was out standing, not one down fall at all, each plate was as I expected with a little added twist, making the meal stand out from any meal I have had in a very long time !! The wine choice was very good. The surrounding views are beautiful and serene, subtle music and low lights, just perfectThe staff were extremely efficient, polite and well presented. Totally out standing ! An amazing night I will remember for a long time (But please make sure you take mosquito repellent if seated outside, I have more than enough bites to remind me of the evening)

In occasione del matrimonio dei nostri amici, abbiamo potuto godere di questa splendida location, super accogliente, immersa nella natura che le fa fa da cornice, siamo stati tanto contenti della super organizzazione, e soprattutto delle ottimo cibo. The location is nothing special, but inside the ambience is quite pleasant. Food is very good: excellent risotto prepared in many ways, good pastas and main courses served in generous sizes. In once occasion actually the portions were a bit too large. Anna is very charming: welcoming and kind with all guests as well as professional. Prices are correct. All in all a very positive experience. It is often very busy, so reservations are recommended.
