stopped off for a late Saturday lunch (gone 2pm) to break up a long journey. did not fancy any motorway services so followed a suggestion by the GPS leading us down this small hamlet a 10/15 minutes off the motorway. was not sure if we would still be served ( only one other party there drinking their coffees) we were showed to a table and offered the choice of both a la carte (ristorante) and Pizzeria. good choice of meat and meat dishes ( separate menus) with some homemade pasta. Settled for a perfectly adequate tagliatelle with duck and courgette sauce. One other memebr of the party had spaghetti with squid ink ( nero di seppia) she commented on the fact that they had an unusual but not unpleasant consistency more due to the fact she expected it to be fresh egg based pasta. Good value and quirky decor ( carnival themed). recommend

Day trip to Aquileia and went to this place as top of Tripadvisor list. The decor is average so were a bit skeptical when we sat down. Got a very warm welcome from the owner, then it's all wow from there. He is clearly very passionate about the food of his restaurant: we had a delicious spaghetti vongole and a grilled sea bream that is really fresh and done just right, the owner proudly explained the seafood was caught just this morning. As we hopped out, he was talking to other customers on the other side of the restaurant so we thought we won't interrupt him, but as we were walking to our car, we caught him standing at the door waiving a warm goodbye. Very good value too. Go there, you'll love it!Thank you very much dear customer.We are very proud to receive your positive review.We wish you all the best and we hope to be as delicious as our spaghetti.You are always welcome and we hope to meet you again in future.Best regards

So large were our pizza's that we none of us could eat all and as they were so nice we took away the remainder!Amazing value,very friendly service and even the non serving staff were also hospitable and friendly to us on departure.We used the restaurant,others were using the takeaway ( with a bar on hand!).

Menù del giorno: spaghetti aglio e olio discreti ma abbondanti, spiedini di carne invece IMMANGIABILI (sembravano vecchi di giorni), patate lesse di contorno. Prezzo 12 euro con acqua e caffè. Locale adatto solo per pranzi lavoratori senza pretese.

Le pizze sono discrete. La pasta è gradevole, gli ingradienti buoni. Nel complesso non è una pizza da serie A. Lodevole l'impegno nel servirti subito le pizze da asporto e l'ampia scelta.Si può prenotre anche via telefono, visto l'affollamento perenne.Da non sottovalutare altri pezzi di simil rosticceria molto gustosi.Gestori molto simpatici e amichevoli.

Sulla via della stazione mi sono fermata allâora di pranzo chiedendo se potevo mangiare velocemente prima di prendere il treno. Mi hanno suggerito di ordinare subito una pizza. In un attimo ero seduta a tavola e servita. Molto cortesi. La pizza è ottima. Ho preso 1/2l di acqua, una marinara con rucola e un caffè dâorzo, il tutto per 8,80â¬!!Lo consiglio

Quando si parla di pizza da asporto si parla solo di Dal Lep. Solo pizze maxi, croccanti, buonissime anche riscaldate al forno o in pentola. Una garanzia.

The restaurant has very good location and the interior is lovely. Their food is really tasty- probably the best pizza nearby and wide selection of fishes. Other big positive is the friendly and helpful staff.We ate there many times and will definitely come back again.

Been before on our trips to Cervignano to visit family. Quiet room at the back. Staff very friendly and patient especially with us the English/Scottish members. Good pizza and pasta served fresh and quickly. Everyone cleared their plates, no complaints. Large car park and just outside of Cervignano. Will visit again on our next family get together

If you are into taking the road less traveled - e.g. Route SS 14 between Venice and Trieste (as opposed to the autostrade), this restaurant is the perfect lunch spot. While I had the special of the day, Spaghetti Vongole (incredible), my son had the diavolo pizza which was perfect: Thin, crispy crust and cooked to perfection. The only down note - the frito mixto which my wife expected to be a seafood salad but instead was a strange assortment of seafood covered in rich and creamy sauces too heavy to let any flavor thru. Oh well. Sometimes that is what you get when you eat local. BTW this is locals spot as not a lick of English was to be heard. (Don't let it deter you.)
