From reserving the table to paying the bill, we were totally relaxed and cared for.We had the meat and cheese starter which was plentiful for â¬15 per couple, with lovely artisan breads and sticks.For mains we had steak with veg and cauliflower cheese, which was amazing!Everything is locally sourced or produced by the family. The wine was carefully chosen to go with your food, we were even given a taste of the fatherâs home brewed spirit which was Devine.Amazing experience, service excellent and very reasonably priced.Weâve eaten out a few times in Sestriere and this is best by far!!

Cosy, traditional stone building with a fire, intimate surroundings, crisp linen tablecloths, friendly, attentive service, excellent wine and food. Access is by ringing the doorbell but donât let that put you off - we walked in without a reservation mid week and it was 2/3 full - perfect. Sea bass and duck both excellent, rounded off with zabaione for dessert.

It started so well. Deep fried polenta was served with the wine. The fresh pasta with pesto was very good. And then the kitchen messed up. You can't cook chewy meet the same way as tender meet. Raw steak doesn't get any closer to medium by charcoaling the surface. And the mixed grilled seafood was tasteless.Probabilmente non conosce e non capisce la cucina italiana. La carne va servita così. Se la cottura non era di suo gradimento poteva dirlo. Siamo stati tutti gentili e premurosi nei suoi confronti, trattandola benissimo. Non capiamo l'astio di questa recensione. Buon ritorno in Norvegia!

We had a great evening meal here. Although the menu isn't extensive, there was something for everyone from steak to octopus. The baked potatoes are actually roasted and compliment all the dishes. The octopus came with fennel and cranberries which was delicious. The house wine was very good and reasonable and the amazingly yummy puddings finished a fabulous meal. Molte Grazie

Visited for a very late lunch. The restaurant had clearly been very busy and the remaining diners seemed very content. The menu is good and the nicoise salad was beautifully presented and the pasta was also good. The décor is pleasant with comfortable sofas on one side for drinks. We were the last in and the last to leave and although it was obvious they were closing for that quiet period between lunch and dinner we were not rushed or felt obliged to hasten our departure.Facilities were clean and fresh smelling with diffusers. (They own the Golf club too and they do amazing aperol spritz!). Reasonable prices.

We booked this through the Crystal Ski Rep while on a Ski Holiday.The Restaurant collected us from outside the Ski School in a Skidoo and brought us up the Mountain to the Restaurant which was a great novelty way to start the evening.We chose the Raclette for the 4 of us. It was delicious and there was so much food that we could not finish it! We had Panacotta and really lovely Tarte Tatin for Dessert with some excellent Barbera Wine.Very good value at â¬112 for the 4 of us for everyone. Would recommend

Popped in here when there was too much snow to ski! We received a warm welcome straight away and there was a good choice of dishes on the menu for everyone! The food was delicious and hot and we all enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Very enjoyable!

We have had lunch here 3 days in a row. Prices are extremely reasonable and so much cheaper than a French resort. Charming elegant restaurant. Visited on a weekday as soon as it opened (as it closes early). Made very welcome. Free glass of prosecco each on arrival. The menu was in English, which was great as we don't speak Italian. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a main and pudding, and I only just managed to finish dessert. Full to the brim. There is a huge selection of wine, from good house reds to fine Barolo's. After the meal, we were offered jars of sugar lumps soaking in different flavoured alcohol - mint; sage; ginger and liquorish; and one I cannot remember. You spoon a lump out, pick it off the spoon with your fingers and crunch it in your mouth. WOW! Taste explosion. I had 3 out of the 4 offered and I was quickly very tipsy (in a great post meal way). The bill for 2 adults and our son, (who was served adult portions) was approx' £100 including wine, which was more expensive than any other restaurant we'd tried in the village, but it was better than any other restaurant we'd tried. This is fine dining.
