The new hit for the season is the "Gaiofa" (I think it means pocket in the local language). It's a puffy paste sandwich - a sort of pita made with pizza dough - filled with vegetables seasoned with a lovely yogurt sauce. I've had mine with sausage but you can add either tuna or simply eat the vegetarian version. It's worth a try! Pizza is very good as well!

If you're looking for a war, welcoming and cozy place than go to malga Frattasecca! Friendly and professional staff, lovely food and great atmosphere, the perfect recipe for a lovely rest after a tough day on the mountains! We had dinner at the malga almost every day in a two weeks holiday and every time has been great! PS. Un grazie speciale a Tiziano, Guida Alpina e ottimo padrone di casa!! A presto!!

We had some great food at this restaurant, the pizzas are especially good. Good bar too with Forst on draft and some 'Artiginale' beers. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful and they have fantastic views from the sun area.

Exceptional place. The location is an old mill, tables are located all around the place, at different floors. We had several times been seating in the old stable that is just amazingly well organized.Talking about food, you would never believe that this was Italian moutain food. We were reallyfar from the standards. Eg, the risotto with blueberries.... Just exceptional. The deer never taste as any other. And the wine list was also a real pleasure for covering these delicious dinners. We had both white and red and both were discoveries.I can't wait for our next stay, during which we definitely will stop by there for another dinner.

Staying in Madonna di Campiglio, we drove 30 minutes to this destination restaurant and it was our best meal in the area. Absolutely amazing locavore place run by a Chef without formal training (he's a ski instructor in the day time) but with great passion. Our group of 5 ordered all 4 appetisers and all 4 pastas, two mains, a vegetable side and three desserts, and the meal with several bottles of wine came to about â¬30 per person. Amazing value at twice the price. The menu probably changes depending on what's available but standouts were a very tender beef tongue, spaghetti with a cream sauce I am still dreaming of, risotto, lake fish and duck breast. Amazing bread basket! The deer tartare was interesting but not as memorable. The vegetable side was very unusual, with wild spinach and sweet carrots. If in the area this is a must go if you want a special experience (just make sure you have GPS because it is remote).

Amazing restaurant, great people, comfortable. The food was exceptional, I highly recommend to try the Tyrolese specialities. Even the Grappa was good, which usually is not that good in restaurants. Price was more than fair as opposed to how much we have ordered. 2 antipasto, 2 primi, 2 beers, 2 grappa 60 euro and it was exceptional. Highly recommended!

We took two dishes of the day and a shin, and everything was very good. Also the desserts were dedicated and good-tasting.The cuisine is not particularly elaborated, but this is in line with local cuisine, so another good point scored.Final prize, for what we consumed, was very balanced: we paid 64⬠in 3 people.Absolutely suggested!

I have dinner here every year in winter and summer during my holidays in the mountains! I find it the best way to taste savoury, traditional local cuisine, with a great choice of wines. You can find here the best deer dishes: on 4th March I had deer carpaccio with pineapple, tagliatelle with deer ragout and deer tagliata! If you think it may be boring and exagerate, you don't know what you have missed. Drink a nice bottle of Teroldego, have a nice almond dessert and finish with a mix of homemade grappa and you can't go wrong. It all comes at a price but the overall value for money is UNBEATABLE! Welcoming service and professional treatment by the owner is the classic cherry on the cake. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

We had lunch here with an antipasto, pasta, dessert, and coffee. The food was delicious and abundant, especially the antipasto. The rooms are very spacious with very nice furniture. There is a glass window in the floor that allows your to see the animals in the stable beneath. Outside you can see goats, rabbits, cows, and even some pony horses. Surroundings are wonderful and worth a digestive walk after lunch.
