Residence Blue Bay offers guests many services: to enjoy relaxing on our sun can make use of our eco pools (salt water and chlorine) and have a drink by the pool in the bar, listening to good music. Unexpected opening of the Blue Bay Beach, the coast is rocky, a great way to overcome the drawbacks of the beach, while the shallow waters make bathing relaxing and peaceful. For beach lovers, however, only 500 m there are two public beaches (one free and one private). In the evening the pool will be the background for dancing or entertainment that will involve customers of BlueBay, both big and small! Reviewed By karenhP1022PGWe had suite Ocean which we could see the beautiful sea and we could also relax on the balcony. The jacuzzi was very romantic and the staff decorated the room with rose petals. Staff have been very helpful and the hotel is only 20 steps away from the beach. It is a bit difficult to get to though, if you are not driving. We waited for an hour for buses which didn't even come. If your holiday is about spending time relaxing in the hotel and beaches then it is a good place to stay.

Disastrous beds
Reviewed By GuidoV1073First the good: The apartment was clean and well furnished at first glance. BUT: We slept poorly. The mattresses are so old and worn out that we were literally in a hole. The children's mattress was also unusable, you could feel every feather in the back. The kitchen is hardly equipped. There wasn't even a bowl or a larger pot to prepare a simple meal. We therefore asked ourselves whether the kitchen should only be decoration. Toilet paper was scarce, the hair dryer worked very badly, the towels were holey and were not even changed in 10 days. In winter it can get quite cold because the heating does not heat both rooms. Honestly, we know it differently from Italy! Further facts: The apartment is located in an old town labyrinth - without GPS, the first day is difficult to find again. In addition, the apartment cannot be reached directly by car. If you have a lot of luggage, you're definitely out of luck. We tried to contact the landlord to complain. He has ignored us to this day, hence this public review.

Great days by the sea in Puglia

Were looking for options in Punta Prosciutto and surroundings, and at the end we decided for this residence in San Pietro in Bevagna. Our choice couldn't be better. The amazing beach and the hotel were a perfect match. Great environment, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and the structure fully integrated to the beach. Highly recommended!

Our best stay in Puglia!
Reviewed By Thomas BLe Dieci Porte is a wonderful group of trulli (a very typical accommodation in Puglia) set against the peaceful backdrop of Alberobello’s country side. You wake up with the sound of cows and roosters and fall asleep with the sound of owls. The trullo we were in was number 5, made up of two floors, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a very spacious, interconnected furnished kitchen, dining area and living room. It’s pretty much a whole apartment, meticulously decorated! The breakfast is made by the owners, Stella and Christophe, a wonderful, laid-back duo. It is the perfect breakfast with the perfect quality, quantity and balance. You begin with local and fresh delicacies, first salty then sweet, leaving you satiated to just the right amount. In addition, the compound has a sheltered parking, beautifully decorated seating areas with a garden that is full of butterflies 24/7, a soon-to-be-completed pool and a drying area for your clothes and towels. Not only is Le Dieci Porte in a very strategic location where everything is easily accessible, but Stella and Christophe are also full of wonderful suggestions for whatever you may desire, whether that be restaurants, excursions or beaches and bays. They are the sweetest, most available hosts. So is their daughter! They all speak various languages, namely English, French & Italian. A beautiful, generous family that makes you feel at home and an all-round superbly, stunning stay. (A big shout out to Lino as well, Stella’s father, who was working on the pool day-in, day-out under the scorching sun throughout our entire stay.) With love, The Baruzzi Family

The Residence Solar, located on the Ionian coast, at Torre Ovo, frazione of Torricella- Province of Taranto. The Residence is 10 meters from the beach with a view onto the Sea- offering amazing sunsets. Torre Ovo, on the coastline of the Pianura Salentina, south of Taranto, is some 30 Km away from the Capital of the Region and equidistant to the most points of interest like: LECCE, OTRANTO, GALLIPOLI, PORTO CESAREO, CAMPO MARINO, ALBEROBELLO, THE CAVES OF CASTELLANA, LOCOROTONDO... The modern structure and refined atmosphere i san ideal spot for nice break for both, Families and Couples.

Lovely location but room for improvement
Reviewed By vanessac728There are some lovely positives to this masseria - nicely furnished & characteristic cottages all set around a nice size pool in a very peaceful and charming setting. However it felt slightly neglected by the management and the pool needs better maintenance (to remove the green tinge around the edges ). It also needs more sunbeds to accommodate the number of guests . Breakfast was a let down - very little of it and barely any choice of jams or marmalade ( which were all cheap sachets instead of good quality jars or even homemade.) Hardly any cereals and only one type of bread . It was all rather limited (though the cakes and pastries were pretty good ) and they seemed reluctant to actually put anything out on the buffet table! Coffee wasn’t great either and came from a dispensing machine . In terms of our room , it lacked storage & the double bed though it looked lovely, creaked terribly which meant I had to stay absolutely still all night in order to sleep. Overall I had a nice stay here and it is a lovely converted building but the place could be great if it was more carefully looked after and the breakfast was improved too .

The perfect stay
Reviewed By Zosia BWe were a party of two families and we had two apartments adjacent to the trulli (I wish we could have stayed in the trulli itself but it was already occupied). The location tucked into an olive grove and so quiet. Secure parking is nice. Francesco was the perfect host, providing us with a thorough overview of the space, what to do if the power went out (it did during a crazy thunderstorm) and a list of great recommendations for sites all over Puglia. The apartment was spotless and well appointed with plenty of seating, although it could have used a few sharp knives and wine glasses. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern. I loved the large terrace. All it needs is a fire pit for cool evenings.

Lusso bucolico e' la definzione che veine data della Masseria Pavone: gli esterno so intatti dal 6-700, con la dimora del nobile proprietario che domina le case dei trulli che ospitano i contadini, le stalle, gli alloggi per i cavalli e gli asini. Gli interni di questo piccolo borgo sono stati ristrutturati con maestranze locali, valorizzando la pietra a vitsa, ma con i comfort di una dimora a 5 stelle. Ci sono attualmente 6 dimore, da 2 a 6 posti letto, tutte con patio indipendente, con cucine ampie e sale da pranzo ben organizzate. La colazione e' inclusa. Il perosnale e' a disposizione in qualunque momento e provvede ogni giorno alla sistemazione delel camere. Soggiorni indimenticabili al centro della Puglia piu' fiabesca, dei trulli.
Beauty, Relaxation and Warm Hospitality
Reviewed By scpenlonMy 8 year old son and I had the pleasure of staying in the 2 bedroom trullo at the end of August. Our stay was about 6 nights and we enjoyed every moment of it. The property is breathtakingly beautiful in a rustic way and it was everything we wanted. It was quiet, the air was fresh, and the views were spectacular. The trullo itself was gorgeous in an understated way with beautiful muted colors, comfortable linens, a fully equipped kitchen, private garden, etc. Our flight from Rome to Bari had been delayed and so by the time we arrived it was a little late. Raphaele, the caretaker, was there to greet us and show us around the property. I speak Italian so I didn't have any language issues. He was warm and welcoming. While he doesn't live on the property I believe we saw him every day and so any questions could be asked and answered, he checked in with us, etc. In addition, the housekeeper Maria checked in with us, helped me figure out the washing machine, pointed me to grocery stores, etc. While all of this was wonderful, it was really the hospitality that we were shown from the owner (Paolo) and his extended family that made the stay one of our best vacations in recent memory. He happened to be at the property (where he retains part of the property for his own use) the first days of our stay. He invited us to come see his residence in the restored farmhouse. I greatly enjoyed seeing it and before I knew it some of his family members and friends were also there and we were completely enveloped in a warm, welcoming conversation, drinking a glass of wonderful Locorotondo wine. In the meantime my son was running around the property exploring which everyone took in great stride. I had heard that the Pugliese are open and welcoming people and this was true all over Puglia but especially at the Masseria Pavone. In terms of having my son at the property, it was ideal. Due to the rustic and secluded nature of the property and the fact that it was securely fenced, I could open the door to the trullo, sit and have my coffee or plan our day while my son went out and walked around. He greatly enjoyed the ability to have a little independence. He would go visit some of the cats that roam the property, the resident donkey (Bora), the two dogs, or simply hop on one of the bicycles available and ride around the property. He was often content just to walk around looking at the view, the grasses, the olive trees, bugs or whatever else he found! It was wonderfully relaxing for both of us in that regard. After relaxing in the morning we would make day trips to the surrounding cities. Some days were shorter or longer than others, but all were enjoyable and at the end we felt right at home coming back to the Masseria Pavone. We are already planning our trip back. I can't think of any type of traveler who wouldn't enjoy staying at Masseria Pavone. It would be ideal for couples, families and even single travelers. As long as you don't mind being a bit independent (after all it is not a full-service hotel) I can't think of another place I'd rather stay in all of Italy.
