This is a late 19th-century farmhouse nestled in Sicilian citrus orchards and olive groves. The farmhouse was carefully renovated in full respect of the typical elements of the area.The place is run by the Ghezzi family, who is always available to guests with advice and suggestions.The old farmhouse has an inviting restaurant and ten bedrooms.
Peace and Quiet in beautiful location with wonderful staff
Reviewed By Alan SWe had an unexpected "detour" following the collapse of our travel company. The location is remote and beautiful . The farm house is very comfortable . The rooms are well appointed, air conditioned and excellent facilities. The breakfasts and evening meals were wholesome,fresh and beautifully cooked by the owner, Georgio. Fabulous swimming pool. Everybody at the farm house made us feel extremely welcome and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. They helped us arrange tours and taxis. Very reasonably priced and good value for money. Thank you ,Georgio and family.

The company covers about 7 hectares on the territory of Noto, UNESCO world heritage city of Baroque and about 16 km from Syracuse. It rises on the Necropolis of Cozzo Guardiole that gives it its name, as situated on a rocky hill of modest height, from which you can enjoy a wonderful panorama. The land is flanked by the Walloon Cugno Wolf rich Mediterranean vegetation, and many plants such as Thyme, Sage, Capers, Borage, Nettle, etc.
Wonderful agriturismo
Reviewed By garvmarvellous place to stay 2 or 3 nights. Nancy is a wonderful and charming host who comes across as genuine and generous. The atmosphere is cool and artistic .the decor is so tastefully arranged . We had the whole place to ourselves, as the only guests, which added to our appreciation ( especially of the beautiful pool). The icing on the cake is the food - dinners prepared by Nancy or her husband are sumptuous, full of local super-fresh ingredients. Those dinners were highlight Of our 2 weeks in Sicily. lovely !!

Reviewed By dariocC9900AEWe have stayed here for a whole week in middle of August. The beach is the best of south Sicily, fantastic sea. Owner so welcoming and helpfully. Restaurant has an excellent chef preparing the best seafood we have found in all areas.

A genuine Sicilian agriturismo
Reviewed By NiamipLoved our stay at the Terra e liberta. It is an authentic farm stay! It's not a fancy agriturismo, it's a working farm with many different type of animals and a beautiful view of the surroundings. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. My girls absolutely loved their stay. It also helped that there was a great outdoor pool. Arturo makes you feel at home. Highly recommend it for families with children.

Worst stay ever
Reviewed By 119MaltaHave visited this B & B for 5 times now. This last visit has been the 5th and last time. Place is too noisy to relax as every eve there are parties downstairs. Breakfast is a big no no. Nothing for gluten free people - just 1 croissant - as, according to the owner, we are expensive for them. Wifi in rooms not available. Clothes horse full of rust. Cockroach in room. Bed is not so comfy.

Reviewed By Charles BRooms: Comfortable King Size Bed, simply furnished, Air Conditioned, spotlessly clean. Location: Stunning location close to the Cava Grande for walking; Breathtaking views over the coastline below. Hotel: A warm greeting from Piera, the owner who looks after everybody so well its like staying as a personal friend. Generous and varied breakfasts included with lots of choices. Large spotlessly clean swimming pool with lots of space. Only nine rooms so peaceful and everybody talks to each other. Family run with very friendly staff. What more could you want! Restaurant: Delicious Traditional Sicilian cooking; Two exceptional chefs, one of whom is Giulio the owners son. Carefully put together menus of local produce complimented by mouth watering puddings made by Giulio and Piera. The food here is as good as it gets and the local wines are moorish. Overall staying here was a perfect experience. We stayed for two weeks and will return. Thank you so much Piera.

Fortunately, the owner was waiting for us and after 1 hour of lookinf we found the place. Very nice rooms, big pool with peaceful view of the country, nice and friendly owners, good breakfast with regional products. A big farm with horses, house animals and birds. We came lately and it was possibility to order light dinner (7 euro/person) - bread, cheese, tomatos, cold cuts, tea. The only con - definitely to early check out - 10 AM!!!

Agriturismo the original way!
Reviewed By marionjaneHere you stay on a genuine agriturismo... first job is the oranges, lemons, olives and almonds, plus wheat and other crops. Davide is welcoming and happy to talk about the bio nature of the place, and walking to the nearby restaurant through the lemon grove was a highlight. This is not high end ... but everything is clean and functional. We had the loft room which we found a bit hot in early September, but we were able to sleep in the downstairs room which was much cooler. Delicious breakfast served by Melinda.
