Reviewed By H4574PJedithmWe booked this hotel late in the evening for one night. The personnel waited for us even though we arrived very late in the evening. We and especially our children were welcomed in a very pleasant manner. The room was clean and sufficient. The breakfast was good.

The Feeling Of an Authentic Loval Italian Experience
Reviewed By GilmerSenseiWhile traveling through Italy, I wanted to stay a couple of days in Montepulciano. Found this hotel on Expedia for the unbelievable price of 45 Euros per day(plus taxes). I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The hotel is quite simple, but clean. And although on the main road about 10 mins outside of Montepulciano proper, I found the room to be quiet. I had a balcony where I was able to sit with sparkling water, a wonderful local red wine, some bread and prosciutto overlooking the rolling Tuscan hills. It was amazing. The food in the attached restaurant was good and reasonably priced. ('Pici' is the local pasta and was delicious everywhere.) The breakfast was completely unremarkable. Free parking was easy right next to the hotel or in the lot the hotel owns across the street. I recommend this hotel as it gives you the feel of an authentic local Italian experience at a very reasonable cost.

Reviewed By candfholsExcellent hotel which I strongly recommend! I stayed at the hotel for four nights with my Mum as we wanted to go to Terme, both Sensoriali and Piscine Theia, and it was perfect! The location is great, both to go to Terme and to explore nearby Tuscan towns - bus stops conveniently situated outside the hotel main entrance. Food was was very very good, everything is freshly made and the taste is so good! The service was great, nothing was a problem - I have food allergies and great attention was put into the meals which were prepared apart for me. The staff was very friendly and the owners very cordial and hospitable, they made us feeling at home! I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone - much more than a three stars hotel!

There are a variety of rooms some have sunny patios , best at the back of the hotel . Our room was decorated in a period style twin beds , lovely soft linen & towels , whirlpool bath with shower , bidet too . A/c easy to use . Really clean. Safe & plenty of storage space . No tea making , although some rooms have a kitchenette, but no kettle. Good sized room . Yes maybe style is a bit dated but it is in keeping & I don't like modern concrete blocks of hotels . The heated indoor pool with water jets , free to guests is a real bonus in early May when the outdoor pool was too cold . The public areas are nice, there is a bar . The breakfast room is not lit by daylight and the continental breakfast is adequate , but no fresh orange juice , no fresh hot eggs , but has a toaster for the English . Lots of cakes & types of croissants but not freshly baked . Excellent coffee machine . The walled village of San Quirico d'Orcia is a 7 min stroll . Lots of restaurants & old narrow streets to explore with a central main street & square by the church . Reception staff will book a table .

La villa, di antichissime origini, poggia le fondamenta sull'originale costruzione di epoca etrusco-romana, della quale, all'interno, sono visibili, attraverso degli oblo, gli antichi granai perfettamente conservati, che contribuiscono a creare un'atmosfera davvero suggestiva. Tutt'intorno si distende il parco di pini e cipressi, visibile anche dalla piscina in travertino, direttamente affacciata sul panorama naturale. Il nostro hotel dispone di 22 camere, dotate di ogni comfort; alcune rispecchiano fedelmente lo stile tipico toscano, altre sono piu eleganti e ricercate negli arredi. Per chi desideri l'atmosfera magica di stucchi e damaschi, puo trovarla nelle due esclusive Suites dedicate alla celeberrima coppia Federico Fellini e Giulietta Masina, che erano soliti trascorrere lunghi periodi di relax e "dolce vita" avendo eletto Villa il Patriarca a loro dimora privilegiata in Toscana. E' qui che Fellini ha immaginato e ambientato "8 e 1/2", il suo piu grande capolavoro. Lovely Easter weekend
Reviewed By ltm35I visited this hotel over Easter weekend, when the weather was perfect and tourism was at its peak. I enjoyed my stay! The hotel is on a beautiful piece of land with panoramic views, and the package deal (room, breakfast, three-course dinner) was quite reasonable. Linda at the front desk was exceptional. She arranged an in-room massage for me with Esperanza, who was terrific. On Saturday, I did a Vespa tour around the area with Vintage Tours. They picked me up at the hotel for a small additional fee and showed me the area. It was spectacular. The only cons: The wi-fi was unbelievably weak; my plans to watch a few movies in the late evening were foiled. The taverna was good but not great, although I appreciated room service (only a 5 euro service charge) after a long day out and about. In short: recommended!

Everi room is furnished with bathroom, TV, telephone, air-conditioning and terrace. The restaurant, run directly by the owners,offers a wide range of typical Tuscan dishes including home-made pastry such as. pici, pappardelle, lasagne, and potato gnocchi. A wood-burning oven makes it possible to enjoy grilled meat and fish specialities as wel as cooked pizzas.

The pool was not open when we arrived but the lady did open for us . Saying that we couldn’t sit there because there were so many biting red ants.

Reviewed By bobby545The things i like most about Leger Holidays is the wonderful staff and the different types of people that i was able to meet including the tour guides and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, Our 2 Drivers were Paul and Craig and they did their very best to help me and the others in and out of the hotel on or off duty, That being said there are a few points that could be addressed ; 1. The included food , Breakfast the cooked options.processed egg, undercooked bacon, and hot dog sausage, and a toasting machine that didn't work properly, and i witnessed that the so called chef reused what we didn't eat for the next day so by the end of the week the egg had been microwave that much it had started to go GREEN I would not have served that to my neighbours dog, 2 Dinner options; Although everyone have a choice of at least 2 main options a night ,by midweek it seemed as if they didn't care for us Brits ,for example,[a so called candle light dinner] , as soon as the other hotel guests left the dining room all the lights went back on , the upstairs bar in the Hotel Cristallo wasn't open for us at all , only by chance was it open because other groups from other tour companies were staying for a few nights, and by thursday the chef seemed to be reusing the veal that was supposed be fresh in at least 3 other dinner meals , so by Friday night no one was looking forwards to our last dinner meal provided by Leger .
