Last time were in Escazu, the food was great here.This time,no comparison.I was looking foward to having lunch here,so I took a walk from the apartment we were staying at.I was by myself,and sat inside.I ordered falafel platter,with fries,and pita bread.Falafel,tasted like it was sitting all day,and they just refried it.Pita bread,how can you screw it up? Dry,overheated,also stale.The fries were really good.They also make a good limonada.Unfortunatly,wont be going back.They really let this place go

Kinda became my little neighborhood pub....lots of beer to choose from...best potatoes in herbs and mayonnaise...Alberto and wife..the honors are kn a roll on English and Spanish..and always with a smile...sometimes they should open earlier...maybe on rainy grey days...Very recommended

The restaurant we were just in was the one near Plaza del Sol in Curridabat. The first 2 plates we ordered with pork meat we had to return because the meat tasted like it was spoiled so we opted for a vegetarian bowl with just one egg, tofu and cashews. Underwhelmed by the taste and quality in general.Overpriced for quality, could have eaten a much better meal almost anywhere for that price. I never complain about price but today I felt I was robbed . I did comment to the staff who were very nice but of course they have nothing to do with the prices. The receipt below is what we were charged for 2 people.

I visited this place during a work trip to Costa Rica. Here is my review.Pros.- Attention. Everyone was kind and aware of our needs- Beverages. High Quality- Location. Escazu is simply outstandingCons.- Our lunch menú were average. The â1/2 Milanezonâ was quite greasy (and huge) and other plates were quite smallOverall is a good place but not outstanding as it presents to the public. If I visit it again I would try to taste something from the regular menu instead of their lunch.

At first we blanched at the prices on the menu but then we saw that they had a fixed price menu offer, actually three different ones. We chose the Salmon and the Veal and got a full meal including drink and dessert for a very reasonable price. The salmon and the veal were cooked to perfection and the presentation was pleasing.Thanks very much for your comment . You are always Wellcome .
