We ate here during one of our Holland America excursions. Somewhat off the beaten path, but nevertheless a good restaurant choice. We were first greeted by a demonstration on making pasta. We then proceeded to a dining area that was in a very old cistern or water storage room. Pasta was very tasty, good local wines served with the meal, and the tiramisu dessert was excellent. The waitress staff was very helpful and friendly.

A row of deli style pavement restaurants sit in the heart of Ariccia, just across the bridge with amazing views.The food was simple, tasty and great value offering more of a tapas style of portion designed for sharing with Mozzerella balls way bigger than you usually find in the UK.We took the challenge of the 20 dish menu and between 6 of us just about managed it..In true Italian style the Limoncello made the rounds at the end of the meal and we all left full and happy.While in the area take a ride down the anti gravity road where going up looks like coming down and vice versaBetween Albano and Nemi lakes, called "Ariccia's downhill".[33] Coming from Rocca di Papa (little town near Rome), driving forward Ariccia direction, acrossing "via dei laghi" you'll get on the ss218, after 100 meters you are on the "magic downhill".

October 14, 2014, our family had dinner in this restaurant. The restaurant looks like a small mountain hut - very cozy environment. We had Primo and Secondo this evening. For Primo we took the advise from the chief. We had ravioli stuffed with duck, tortellini in a gorgonzola sauce and then homemade bean soup with fresh parmesan cheese. All dishes really good. For the main course we had thin sliced beef with fresh mushrooms and boneless, roasted chicken. Particular the chicken was outstanding. Crispy, tasty and juicy. The we had a bottle of the local red wine from CASTEL DE PAOLIS. All in all this was one of the best meals we have had in Nemi for the last many years. Can only be recommended.

Died and went to heaven. Everything we had was wonderful. You can also see it's a matter of pride for the people here, and that I believe also helps the food taste so good, and also the good attention to service which all makes for a great experience. If you love your meat and pasta then this is definitely the place for you. The homemade dessertsâ are a must if you can find space in your belly. The espresso in a plastic cup was odd however but still tasted great. Thanks for the time you've been devoted to writing the review.We are very happy with your words, especially your positive experience here at our restaurant.The welcome and the excellent cuisine are good points for our vision.

Very cozy and informal. You sit on wooden long table with paper tablecloth....but the meal is very good and even the wine is not so bad. Price is low compared to the quality and quantity of food. The service is informal but warm.

we came here after long time 'cos we liked it a lot in the past.this time: nothing to say about the quality of the appetizers but the quantity was really rare.the so enchanted pasta (cacio and pepper) was very bad,very disappointed. we'll avoid it next time. sorrymi dispiace leggere che la CACIO E PEPE non sia piaciuta ma non penso che questo sia motivo per scrivere una recensione cosi'. Sarebbe piu' opportuno dirlo subito cosicche' noi possiamo rimediare ad un eventuale errore.

We had a delicious steak (bistecca) with baked potatoes and gnocchi with aubergine and pine nuts.The location is nice and the personnel is professional and polite.We'll come back for sure!
