Came highly recommended quite ordinary food and setting, very short menu, served first course in steep sided bowls which made it difficult to eat. And the ultimate sin, they forgot my lemincello!

In Scicli for visiting the famous Commissariato of Vigata, Camilleri's fictional Sicilian town where Montalbano conducts his investigations. We stopped for a quick lunch in Ummara, great little place with Sicilian dishes with a twist to it, great pasta and the desert was really great. The millefoglie con Ricotta. Prices are correct, service was fast and we felt really well.

Beautiful setting right in centre. Had the beef tartare followed by pasta with local Mediterranean fish. Was small but delicious. My husband had a seafood pasta followed by grilled fish. They did a plain pomodoro pasta for our daughter. Great service & great place for some people watching. Would def recommend.

Despite fairly poor reviews (due to heavy rain), we stopped by Millennium for a warm lunch. Unfortunately they don’t serve pizza during lunch hours but pastas didn’t disappoint. We had local Sciccliese specialties and those were good. The service was not great but ladies here are extremely busy and run around a lot. Overall, we enjoyed it but would have preferred a slightly friendlier ‘Italian style’ service :)
