Private bar and free beach activities. Super friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Well maintained. 2x room service per day. Quite good food quality for a buffet. Negatives: air conditioning lacking cooling power. Around the clock music at the busy but very spacious pool.

In front of the hotel and just 100 meters away, the beautiful private beach is for the exclusive use of the hotel guests. The lunch and dinner, which express the local and regional culinary traditions,are at the buffet, in the restaurant or on the terrace.

Need to add a tip if you want your room properly cleaned, including bathroom, all equipment obsolete and you get extra charges even to have your beach towel changed during your stay (had to negotiate not to) or a bottle of water in your room. Breakfast selection is limited and doesn’t feature local products. And the staff comes forward with a solution only after you display your disappointment (one day we had no water on our bathroom, I suggested we could use another room only to be told that there were no rooms available when the hotel was obviously empty. When we noted that this kind of treatment was unacceptable, the available room materialized out of the blue)

Reviewed By Cyana111A disaster. €300 for 2 nights & our rooms were never cleaned, the pigeons on the roof don’t let you sleep at night, pool dirty, broken sun beds, no food, not even a packet of crisps at lunch time but when we complained they brought us old fried food from the day before & a bad plate of pasta which they charged us €50 for! The barman doesn’t speak a word of English, no ice at the bar, tried serving me half a bottle of beer & doesn’t even know how to make a decent coffee - he literally got every single order wrong. They apologised & tried giving us a 15% discount on another stay but none of us will ever come back here. A real shame as you don’t expect bad coffee & no food especially from the Sicilians.

Reviewed By Bridim2019We have discovered this club being at the beach of santa Maria del focallo.it looked very interesting as they have animation on the beach. We had interest to get information to go there next year. However due to the guards behaviour we have changed our mind. In fact, there are 2 beaches entrances, one private for the club and one public which is actually not easily usable as the dunes sand recovered it. Guards are paid all days to open and close the door to the beach but only for the clubs people. Even when they see family charged with baby and buggys, no courtesy to open the door. It is a shame to miss so much of commercial mind!!

Staff was brilliant and always willing to help. The star of this property is the private beach just seconds awat from the hotel. Perfect place to relax and enjoy open views of the sea. Breakfast was not lavish but good enough with a variety of pastries and cereals . on site bar makes great coffee and ideal for an aperitivo before haeding out. Location is also perfect and on the lungomare,less then 10 minute walk to the center of Ragusa. Excellent restaurants also very close to the hotel Really could not find fault with the hotel and recommend it fully. Will definately be returning

Sadly it began to rain with lightning and thunder.We moved to the restaurant, food disgusting it was a 4 course set meal. Starter bresaola and shaved parmigiano. Next course pasta,aubergine( much imagination needed and a pair of binoculars) pine nuts and indescribable source. 3 course veal very dry and looked as though a lorry had driven over it. Source tasted like something from a packet and puree potatoes. Desert. A coconut flan with artificial cream.all above worthy of a motorway restaurant in the UK back in the 70s. Needless to say it was a RIP off.

Really bad experience, poor location and customer service
Reviewed By milano2020With a group of friends, we decided to spend a couple of days after a party to relax and enjoy all together. We arrived in the late evening of Thursday. The place is like a village with a reception in the centre surrounded by the buildings with the rooms. Outside the reception, there are not signals to guide you so you need to check building by building where is your room by going in the front of each door. First thing in the room the air conditioner was broken and stuck with in a very cold temperature and impossible to change. Some lights were broken and the worst thing was NO HOT WATER. We called the reception and she said it was a normal thing as the boiler was busy to prepare the water for the next day. That's crazy, a structure of 4 stars big like a village with no hot water during the night?? The breakfast is scandalous, just a bit of cheap fat ham and cheese, some old boiled eggs and terrible bakeries probably from days before. Could you believe that in a 4 stars hotel for a toast you need to use a dirty toaster left in the middle of a table unplugged and that you need to plug in every time you want to use?? Yes, it's true. The pool is big but there is not any member staff or security. No bar, so you need to go all the way out to the reception, which is far, even if you are in swimwear and wet. Umbrellas and chairs broken, pool dirty. Terrible customer service, we were looking for the bathroom but there was no one you can ask to so when we saw a lady coming out from the main building (probably a masseuse from the spa) we kindly asked where it was, and she replied: ”Why don't you ask the lifeguard of the pool?!” ”Sorry, there is no one!” ”Really!?, I will speak with the reception” ”ok, please where is the nearest toilet?” ”There is one inside and one outside near the pool” ”where is the on the outside near the pool?” ”there, can't you able to read?!” (There was a small signal far away hidden by some stuff) This is unacceptable. A member of staff speaking to a customer like this is unacceptable. Finally, it was time for lunch... Terrible service and terrible food. We decided to try the fish menu. Really bad quality, poor portions and service like a school canteen. I can't believe this place is 4 stars. It's ridiculous. We will never come back.

The baia del sole village is in frony of the sea, where there is the private beach with umbrella and chair, and into Marina di Ragusa, the little city of fisherman. All the rooms are near the swiming pool. Into the village there is the Bar, where you can buy also the newspaper, there is internet free and bike.In the price is included a trip for looking the monuments of Ragusa and province.

Reviewed By stucalinz56My wife and I stopped here for the last full week in April .The hotel is quite basic but very clean the staff are very friendly from cleaners to reception who we found to be most helpful as well.If you travel here at this time of year be aware that the ameanaties like the pool are not up and running.The hotel is in quite good decorative order for a 3 star hotel rooms would be better if they had tea/coffee making facilities.The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk from town with the beach just over the road.
