We stopped in at Isla Coco's for lunch. It was a Saturday and we arrived 30 minutes early, before the 12 noon opening time. A waitress came out and offered us a table and served us drinks while we relaxed and waited for the staff to get organized. We ordered fish (tuna) tacos and whole red snapper. The food was prepared perfectly and quite good.Hola , muchas gracias por su recomendación, nos complace saber que fue de su agrado..!!Gracias de parte de nuestro personal..!

We went here for lunch and shared the nachos. It was plenty for 2 people to share. The carnitas was tender, the salsa & guac was great, and the real cheese was melted on (wasn't any b.s. cheese sauce). It really hit the spot after a long hike. They have big screen tv's behind the bar. A soccer game was playing while we were there. Open air restaurant has nice atmosphere. Good location, in the heart of Malpais. Would have loved a t-shirt because their logo is cool, but they were out of shirts.

Durante nuestra visita a Puntarenas buscamos un lugar especial para ir a comer y nos encontramos este oasis. Muy buena atención y excelente comida.La terraza muy iluminada y ventilada. Deja entrar el agradable aire marino. Los precios son competitivos.La música de fondo deja conversar.Lo malo es que no cuentan con parqueo y hay que dejar el carro en la calle.

This is our second time stopping in Puntarenas on a cruise and we know exactly where to go for a snack, a pina colada and a daquari. Rest Marisquerla Imperial! It is right across from the peir from the cruise port. The service isnt the greatest but the food & drinks make up for it. They speak very little english but you can just point at the menu you cant order in Spanish. They always have soccer on the tv's. There are normally lots of locals around have a great time. Fun to people watch!

This place over looks the ferry and harbor and has a lot of local color. It's a typical soda with typical Costa Rican food. We enjoyed our lunch and the view. If you like fancy places...pick another, if you want to eat like a local stop for a bite.
