THE HOUSE Villa Liberty is a two floor detached house, 400 m from the old city center of Fano and 900 m from the sea. The garden (200 sqm) is equipped with a small fountain, a marble table, chairs, olive trees and other plants. Car parking in the property. THE B&B Our Guests will be hosted in three units: a double room (18 sqm) and two junior suites (25 sqm) featuring en suite bathroom, heating, air conditioning, 32 '' TV, wi-fi, hairdryer, slippers and courtesy set, windows and glazing with excellent insulation, blackout sliding curtains. The two junior suites have also a mini-fridge and a safe. COMMON AREAS Living room (35 sqm) with walnut furniture, flat screen, armchairs and sofas, and the family library (1300 volumes). NOTES No "kitchenette". Pets not allowed. Non-smoking property. The family also owns a farm in the countryside with olive groves and produces excellent organic extra virgin olive oil.

Reviewed By Piero FMy wife and I wanted to spend a week roaming through the small villages behind the coast of the Marche region (totally worth the trip, by the way), and chose this cozy B&B because of the good reviews it had on TripAdvisor. The location is very convenient, just a 5 minutes walk from everything - the old town of Fano (wonderful), the seaside, the railway station. You can also get free bikes to ride around the town. The 100 years old villa is very well preserved, with a lovely garden. The furniture in the rooms is vintage (yet perfectly preserved), with every modern comfort you may wish for: air conditioning, flat screen TV with dozens of channels in every language, refrigerator, safe, very comfortable latex mattress. The bathrooms, on the other side, have been completely renovated. All windows have double glazing. And then you have the breakfast! Home made tarts (with home made jelly), spinach-and-ricotta cakes, burrata, cold cuts, anything sweet or salty you can wish for: Lela is an accomplished and talented cook, after one of her breakfasts you can roam around the whole day on just water (and maybe a gelato - don't miss on these). Lela's husband, Pino, is a great source of information about events, places to visit, restaurants. He will go out of his way to help you find what you are looking for. On top of everything, you get warm italian hospitality, the smalltalk that makes you feel at home (even if you are not italian). We are definitely going there again.

We suggest to try the salus-per-aquam path, the best way to forget the daily issues. The staff has been very pleasant and made us feel at home. Astonishing sight from the window of our room!

Insensitive to people with disabilities
Reviewed By 71rosemarylAlthough our accomadations were lovely, I am a person with a disability and have trouble walking. Gabriella did not realize I understood more Italion than she gave me creidt for. When leaving she commented to my travel companion "Couldnt you find somneone else to travel with? She has trouble with mobility and you do not". I checked with my friend and this is an accurate translation of what was said. I found this comment to be shaming and demeaning of someone who has a disablity. If you have a disability or care about people who does I would not support this organization. Should people who are willing to be helpful to someone they love who has a disability be advised they would be better off with someone else? In all fairness the hotel is well located, lovely and staff are very kind and helpful.

What a Treat!!

We were driving through the Italian countryside from Florence and reserved a night here in advance. Roberto and Daniela make you feel so welcome. Our upstairs corner room was very neat and clean with beautiful views. It was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed wine on the patio in the afternoon then dined in town later on. In the morning, Daniela made us the perfect cappuccino and served a beautiful breakfast of meats, cheeses and pastries/breads. It was lovely. And very affordable.We loved our time at Country House Parco Ducale and look forward to another (longer) visit one day. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We fell in love with Tavullia, not just for Valentino Rossi, but for the charming, beautiful town itself. Al Castello is the perfect place to stay, right in the centre of the town, a minutes walk from the bars and shops. Our room was very tidy and cool with added touches such as complimentary water, tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets. Our host Michele was very friendly and even went the extra mile to wash some of my partners clothes as he had ridden on his motorbike from the UK. We will definitely return to Al Castello it is fantastic!! Thank you Michele for your hospitality.

I enjoyed the big bathroom (most Hotels there have too small bathrooms/showers). I really want to mention the outstanding service of receptionst Elena! Reviewed By cox01Considering the price it is super!!! The hospitality is poor and that was the only time in our 14 days holliday in Les Marches. The daughter who welcomed us was correct and polite but not warm.The appartments are spotless, old but for this budget you can't expect the finest decoration. The aircon worked perfect. The views are not really nice from the terraces, Or you see a hedge or you see a rather small garden with grass. You can't see the pool from the rooms. The pool has the best views and is really welcome after a day of excursions (Cagli, Borgo Pace and Urbino, all af them half an hour driving) Good, cheap restaurants in the neighbourhood. There is also a communual outdoor kitchen and bbq. There were a lot of Dutch guests!

The Farmhousehouse "La Ferraia" is situated on the border between the Marche and Umbria regions, in the heart of the Apennine Mountains. It is located half-way between Gubbio and Urbino, in the territory of the municipality of Cagli, and it spreads over an area of over 20 hectares. The Farmhouseland is used for cereal cultivations, fruit trees and small animal breeding. The area is rich in woods, streams, and nature is uncontaminated. The Farmhousehouse, completely restructured, can accomodate up to 29 persons in 10 bedrooms, all furnished in "arte povera" style, and with independent bathroom.
Great place in green surroundings
Reviewed By danielaa760The agriturismo is a wonderful place where you can have your holiday. The people are great, especially Loris and Chiara, extremly helpful. The pool is great with chairs and very well kept. Rooms are all done very tastfully, the minor points I would like to suggest for Room 2, change the shower curtain for a longer size(as this is the room for disabled people) as the whole bathroom was flooded and buy new matresses as you could feel all the bumps and lumps. The terrain is very well maintained with flowers. The restaurant is a point where they really need to improve. We had dinner there but the menu was not all that. My suggestion would be to go to the roots of the region and offer a menu with products from Le Marche. They have a great BBQ place, go into town and get your meat and enjoy a great evening outdoors. Breakfast is amazing, various types of local cheese, salami, bread, various marmalades, cornflakes, variety of cakes, fruit and more. Dogs are allowed.
