July 27, 2020 Esmeralda Fenner

Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in Padua. Known as Padova in Italian, Padua may be the oldest city in northern Italy, if you believe the claims of its 12th-century BC founding by Trojans. It certainly has history, including its famous university (one of Europe’s oldest, from 1222), the 13th-century Basilica di Sant'Antonio (resting place of St. Anthony), and Scrovegni Chapel, with Giotto’s famed 14th century frescos. The magnificent Prato della Valle, a 950,000-square-foot elliptical square, is thought to be Europe’s second-biggest.

Really, really good. Good burgers, good service (competent and friendly, helped out my injured money with a bit of ice), good beer list... even vinegar for the chips! Wife had an Aubergine burger and liked it!Only thing I can think of to improve: replace PET plastic bottles (happy to pay for tap water) and maybe put in a urinal/pissoir.

We went for lunch based on TripAdvisor reviews. We saw some tables eating meat that was cooked at table. It thought the restaurant was known for that type of meat.We had two pastas foram the antipasti: pene al’arabiata and spaghetti with garlic, tomato and spicy. Both pastas were really good!! Both a little bit spicy. For starter we ordered a plate with different types of ham.The 3 plates were 7€ each. The coperto 3€/person. ( in Italy you always pay coperto- a service taxe). We had nothing for desert. The restaurant is beautiful but just a small warning: the toilet is really really small. But it is clean!

Ham Holy Burger - Padova

Techno menu on ipad order with so many options, it wasn't as if they didn't have the time to take your order, the onion rings are good and so is the sauce alongside but the burger bun had so much sauce on it the bun went soggy and chewy so was inedible and the flavour overwhelmed everything else. We also ordered a tuna salad and were given a chicken salad but didn't have the technical background to work out how to get it changed, so ate it.Overwhelmed by technology and underwhelmed by the food and the 40 euro bill for 2 drinks 1 burger, onion rings, chips and a salad.Mi dispiace che si sia trovato male.
