Reviewed By Matthieu CThe place is amazing (and the view is splendid) The room are very clean and fully equiped. You can use freely the pool and the thermal pool. The Host Lucas is very very helpful. And last but not least, the entrance to the cactus garden is included with the room (and the garden is amazing) In the garden you can enjoy during the summer some good concerts + cocktails. We were very impressed by this place.

Beautiful location
Reviewed By VidosmumVilla della Porta is located a bit up on the mountain side, resulting in it being in the shade in the morning and early afternoon. It seems to be primarily a venue for weddings, birthday parties etc. and less geared towards individual guests as seen in the limited range of the dishes offered for dinner, the absence of a proper lounge, wi-fi only being accessible in public spaces (and often not even that). That being said, then staff go out of their way to serve you and meet your wishes, the rooms are rustic and beautifully appointed, and the building itself hails back to the 16th century with stone corridors, court yards, balconies, a huge garden, and a big swimming pool.

One of the best location in the center of Town, overlooking the bay of Napoli with a fantastic large terrace and pool with private parking.Villa Terrazza is the known for is location and easy access to the beach. The bar and the best restaurants ore one minute away walking distance.
Do not trust the management of this place
Reviewed By wwwdesign522We were supposed to get a van for four passengers and luggage. An hour later a small beat up car barely able to fit four people picked us up. Missing bumper, had to stack the luggage next to us and three of us in the front seat. Driver had to stop and get gas, couldnt speak English and got lost several times. We still had to pay the 130 euro even though originally we had an option to pay 100 Euro for a car. I opted for the van since we knew it would be larger. We paid in full for a 3 bedroom apartment with a washing machine. He showed us to two rooms. No living room like in the photos, no washing machine. I explained that we paid for 3 bedrooms and he just told us that he rented it to someone else. What?? I asked for a refund for the difference and he said we got a good deal and kept pointing to the 5 star Excelsior next door. Then he said he could easily rent it out to someone else. At that point, we had no choice but to grin and bear it... Then when our wonderful driver (Sorrento Tours) called the owner the evening before our departure, the ownee emailed me and said he could take us to the airport for 130 Euro and that we owed a city sales tax that we were not aware of. How could he even think we would book transportation with him??? Sorrento Tours picked us up in a nice Van with a driver in a nice suit, spoke English, had water for us, plenty of room for 120 Euro Oh! The owner was sure to meet us to get our 15 Euro pp upon our departure. Do not trust the owner/management.

The accommodation has a gorgeous view of the beautifully manicured gardens and the magnificent Gulf of Naples. The rooms offer numerous comforts including; wifi, air conditioning, a safe, a TV, a minibar and a courtesy kit and is cleaned daily. A delicious ‘a la carte’ breakfast is served on fine linen on the main terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples and has a clear view of the Vesuvio. Villa Silvana is also located directly across the street from a public underground multi-level garage, making it very convenient if you are traveling with a car.

It fits majestic panoramic views of Sorrento and gorgeous modern furnishings into a six-room villa that’s small enough to let you pretend that you’re the only people there. It’s also perfectly located, just a five-minute walk from the train station, Piazza Tasso, and all number of shops and restaurants. The wonderful Giulia welcomed us warmly when we arrived and was always on hand to offer help or answer our questions. We booked the king suite for one of our nights, and we’re so glad we did. Having the entire upper floor to ourselves, with two private terraces, was an unparalleled delight. We may plan another trip to Sorrento just to stay here again.

Reviewed By Waddy400Had a fantastic stay at Sea Breeze in this lovely Marina setting, We originally booked in 2019 but due to covid and Italian Government meant we couldn't get there and the hotel moved it at each of my request so we are very thankful to them. We had a room overlooking the harbour which is very nice. The breakfast is as described by others as a get up and get you going breakfast . The hotel is set in the harbour and is a good 20 min very hard uphill walk to massa Lubrense . We are in mid 50s and managed this daily but its not for the unfit. Saying that there is a local Sita bus from the harbour upto massa at 9:30am and 11.30 am and in the afternoon back down. If you have a car its no problem. The bus from massa Lubrense goes to Sorrento throughout the day at 2 euro pp. In the Marina the local boat owners do trips to Capri, You can get a ticket from the mini market or Angelo's at 55 euro pp on a boat with approx 60 others or a boat with 10 on it for approx 100 euro pp . we did the 55 euro pp trip. You get 5 hrs on Capri and a island tour.. We used Angelo's snack bar many times while staying here as we loved the family business and people and value and its a 1 min walk away. We got the local bus to sorrento daily from where we caught the train to Pompeii one day 3 euro pp, Herculaneum another day 3 euro pp, and local bus to Positano 3 euro pp. The staff at Sea Breeze are lovely and helpful . Had a great time.

Basic, damp and depressing

The minute i arrived i should have asked for another room as the smell of dampness alone going down to the roomshould have been enough to know that the room wasn't going to be good The accommodation is dated and our apartment was downstairs, therefore no access to outdoor space. During the 6 days our sheets or towels were not changed once. All in all it just felt grubby and a little depressing. Location was good with a very short walk into town and the pool was fine. the wifi didnt work in the room, not sure if this was because it was downstairs.

As it was out of season we were only able to have breakfast there but the hotel is fantastically located in the town to dine out. Staff friendly and helpful Cannot fault it (ignore any previous negative comments as this place is gem)

Good size apartment, with all you require, including coffee machine. Lovely room, super clean,with the most comfortable bed i have ever slept on. The staff was incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Thank you so much for a great time!

(Desconfiábamos un poco ya que en Capri habíamos tenido un engaño con la reserva que teníamos y con el viaje ya en marcha encontramos esté alojamiento de última hora). La habitación dispone de cocina muy bonita, baño y cama muy cómoda. También de una tranquila entrada con mesas, sillas para sentar-te a tomar el fresco y descansar. Está todo reformado, limpio y muy bien cuidado. Lo recomiendo sin duda. De hecho si vuelvo de nuevo a Capri repetiré sin duda.
