Wir waren so gut wie jeden Abend im Urlaub hier und haben uns meistens Pizza und Pasta zum Mitnehmen abgeholt .Die Betreiberfamilie ist total symphatisch und nett ( es wird allerdings nur Italienisch gesprochen , aber man kommt gut klar ) .Das Essen war jedesmal top und günstig, hätte nicht besser sein können .Die Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten habe ich noch nie so gut und frisch gegessen .Wir hatten Pizza, diverse Nudelgerichte und auch Salate .Alles war immer frisch, heià und schmeckte hervorragend .Wir sagen Grazie für das tolle Essen und kommen im nächsten Urlaub garantiert wieder .

We arrived with local friends and straight away the staff were very friendly and happy. First impressions was a funky hip little restaurant, ordered a club sand which and a Caesar salad. Wow, the size was brilliant, service was quick and the food tasted incredible. The library and art gallery add just that extra little something to make the experience worthwhile. A must do for all travellers, you will be pleasantly surprised. A credit to the owners.

I was visiting the Foundation Palazzo Bondoni Pastorio in Castiglione and went to this restaurant once for lunch and once for dinner together with colleagues.I was (all of us were) very impressed by the food there, true masterpieces of Italian cuisine with very good choices of house wine, excellent service. The best restaurant in Castiglione

Very nice familiar place with dehor and in the summer is great to have a lunch watching a quiet location. The cuisine is superb in local food. I suggest their antipasto with salami and cheese (a variety of fine products from the region), with a local wine (great the rosé drinked cold.

It is a pleasure to sit in the elegant and cool dining room here and to enjoy the local dishes from the small but varied menu. When presented with many wonderful pasta choices, I become a bigger ditherer than Hamlet, so it is nice to be able to order a plate that has all of them to try out. Superb the tartare of Piedmontese beef (a Slow Food Presidio product), equally good the lake pike done Mantua style and the tender guinea fowl (an old Gonzaga recipe). Desserts are to expectation, nothing too fancy but traditional sweets carefully prepared. The wine list has some lovely local wines at good prices, we especially loved the Botticino from Colli degli Ulivi (Noventa) - a very old DOC wine made of Barbera and Sangiovese grapes. A deep and delicious wine.Service is friendly and efficient - a lovely restaurant.

I didnât come to Italy for a burger but tonight we thought we would have a snack that wasnât the traditional Italian cuisine. Already had some beers here but went for a cheese burger and Gin and Tonic deal. Shouldnât have bothered with fries as the burger was perfect for me. So tender! Melt in mouth! And no feeling of being bloated after. Full satisfaction. Couldnât believe it. As expected the burger was substantial and needed knife and fork to eat but it was just right. Nice looking place that mixes trendy bar and restaurant vibe with burger restaurant. Gin and Tonic selection extensive. Really smooth BullDog and Fever Tree tonic. Fab. Friendly and likeable staff and top burger chefs!Donât miss this place if you have a hankering for a burger!!!!

We stopped here for lunch on Sunday we ordered the Special if the day seafood homemade pasta all terrific prawn pasta a mixed calamari and prawns fritto misto all good .We washed it all down with fantastic tiramisu, profiteroles and a nice crostata all good .
