We ate here following good reviews on TripAdvisor. We are from England and booked for 1930 which was the earliest slot( we eat early.) Thank goodness we booked!! It was a Thursday and by 2030 it was packed out with locals!! The carpaccio was unreal and the steak burger....well....I'd eat it everyday!! Fantastic wine list and helpful staff who spoke excellent English to my poor attempts at Italian. Go here.

We came to Livorno as it was our last night and we didn't really like Pisa, so we thought we'd travel out for our last night. We arrived early hoping to get a happy hour cocktail before heading to the restaurant. But it was dead with not much atmosphere. But it was nice.We were then in a panic that the restaurant we'd booked on ta would be closed. But no. Full of Italians having lovely big family meals. We were worried they'd not speak English but brought an English menu, all the staff were really lovely. We shared the fish filled pasta to start, followed by the prawn stew and Italian steak and a ginger bread ice cream. Best meal of the holiday. Steak and prawns were amazing!

This is an exceptional place. It's all about the food, the wine and you. Although they do great pizza's ( where in Italy doesn't ) the steak is definitely the main event. Sold by the kilo, choose wisely, take advice from the very knowledgeble staff and then enjoy with a superb range of wines.

Sono stato con Groupon ma il gestore non mi ha trattato come un cliente di serie B. Le carni portate sono buone. Certo le porzioni sono piccole ma essendo tante soddisfano le persone con un appetito normale. Servizio cordiale con spiegazioni di quello che viene servito. Ananas a fine servizio al termine divino. Bravi

When we arrived, we were the first and only ones in the restaurant and the couple who ownes the restaurant were all there for us, we felt like VIPs and the food they made for us was absolutely 5 Star. A real surprise but more than just worth the money. This restaurant is a hidden gem of Livorno!
