It is expensive. Service is really slow. We have seated at the table at 21.30... food came at 23.45: unreal. None upologizedwith us for the service or inconvenient generated. I would not recommend anyone to go there. Dear Adriano,Maybe in a FastFood is unreal, but here, in our restaurant each dish is made express, nothing ready and heated. I do not remember how many dishes you ordered, but it may been happened that the wait was longer than due, Sorry for this! But to not recommend anyone to come to us, I think it's too much! If you did tell us that you would prefer fastest meals we would can provide. We are sorry and we will try to remedy you on your next visit. Bye

Pleasant environment, great seafood dishes, everything fresh, great tasting and reasonably priced. Now the downside: very hot inside and the AC was either turned off or not working (not clear). Also, slow service: anything beyond the appetizers will take some time... all in all, a good experience.

These guys are trying to rivisitate the excellent Salento cuisine in a modern key. Excellent result I must say. We tried pizza gallipolina that was fantastic and well presented. Then we had space for a couple of appetizers (cozze and tartare of prawns) both very good. Tried a local wine, a white 14 degrees. Paid a very fair price. Very good pizza in atmosphere from the 80's. the antipasto with pittole ( fried stuff) was a bit too greasy.

I've been to li papi a few times now - never disappointed!In August we were sat in the garden, under olive trees. The atmosphere is very relaxed, not too casual, an ideal place for friends to have a meal out.There is always plenty of food and I can't think of anyone having left the table hungry! I'd definitely come back!

Went for Sunday lunch with local friends from Sannicola who know the owner and his family. The food was excellent, the wine from the owner's family's winery went great with the food. The large garden with palm trees is lovely. I discovered this Restaurant/Pizzeria by using TripAdvisor as I wanted to eat a good pizza nearby Gallipoli so chose Gio'Co'....it's in the center of Sannicola and despite the size of the local (very small), they can give you excellent moments of sublime taste....I had a pizza which was amazing, you can choose among many combinations of toppings even with stuffed edge!! I thing I'll go there again as soon as possible!!

We had dinner with some friends. The chef suggested a variety of dishes and wines, so we followed his advice. Nothing was a better choice: the food was outstandingly good, dishes we never tasted before. Local wines, a pleasure to enjoy! Danilo, the chef, was presenting the menu himself: this is a dinner to remember!!
