Spacious apartment - Some remarks for stay in the winter

Things to be improved: - Warm water supply limited. - Takes long to warm up in winter - In deserted complex and area - when we stayed, in winter. - Takes bit of time for owners to arrive - they don't live here. - Location could be better - No sea-view.and bit out of town (residential area) We stayed in winter. That probably makes a lot of difference. On arrival there was no-one. Just a closed gate that we assumed would be the right address. We called the owner and took them bit of time to arrive to open the gate and door and let us in. We were the only ones staying in the complex behind the gate, all other houses empty, felt like staying in a ghost-town, cold and dark. On arrival in the cold place - and cold floor - we put the heating and went out for dinner. Not easy to find in winter as most places are closed for the season. But we found a good place in the end and searching a bit. Maybe because the emptiness but towels and bed-linnen were a bit damp, but still doable. We found an extra blanket and did our best to stay warm in the night. The boiler with hot water has a limited capacity and you have to activate it with a button. The shower cabin is quite small and after two quick showers the boiler is empty and needs some hours to recover. Next day the owner arrived in time to exchange the key and pay the bill.

Excellent value for price and nice staff
Reviewed By Helena JWe stayed there for a couple of days as it is centrally located for visiting the area from Lecce to Otranto. Even though there were some problems with our reservation at the hotel, staff was very helpful and they transferred us to the Loggia down the street. It was probably even better as we got two room apartment with a kitchenette and two bathrooms. Surprisingly rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed, air condition worked fine as it was more then 38 degrees. They even offered to bring the breakfast in the apartment but we finally ended up at the hotel, which was a good decision as we got an excellent cappuccino! Food was fresh and good and variety very reasonable for three star hotel. The only down point was not the most comfortable bed, so for me with a sensitive back was a bit of a stiffness in the morning. And unfortunately the wi-fi is only working at public area of the hotel so we were a bit limited, but we came to enjoy the sea, sun and explore the area for which it was a very good location and very helpful staff! Excellent value for the price!

Great location in a beautiful city

It's really nice hotel (sure has good location, between train station and old center, just few minutes walk), although it has some annoying little flaws. First, no wifi, which could be a problem if you want to check sth or just check your e-mails. Second, my bathroom was outside of room (ok, not really a flaw, but it can be annoying to go out, lock your room, open bathroo, lock it again etc). Breakfast is nice, italian style, but all looks supermarket bought. Coffee machine in kitchen (which is super small by the way). Generally really a good option for a stay in Lecce.

Splendida vacanza

Room for improvement
Reviewed By MMajoModern and rather new infra structure with large rooms and bathroom. Unluckily maintenance was not at level tv and shower. In addition room lighting was cemetery style and hard to read. Staff was friendly.
