We found Benito's while searching for my friend's ancestors on this magical little island. What a discovery! There is a large open barbecue where they grill the freshest fish you've ever tasted, and the antipasti and pastas were fantastic as well. The family take great pride in this well run restaurant and it shows in every dish you receive. But the best part if all was meeting and talking with 85 year old Benito who is as young as any man half his age! Go and enjoy this fabulous restaurant. It's like dying and going to food heaven.

Porto Vecvhio is a magical place, and Bar Rostorante is worthy of a food destination in Paris, San Francisco, London, or New York. How unexpected when you dock your boat and walk ten steps to the outdoor terrace restaurant that sits dockside. The food is fresh and local, and the chef is innovative, friendly, and balances light, healthy portions with a gourmet flair. Highly recommended.

We loved it here, arrived with no reservation but were made very welcome by all staff, and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. The aubergine inparticular( recipe obtained from chef! ) but all really good, and the almond lemon cake was a perfect way to finish. Wish we could have spent more time on ventotene to eat here every night

I had the pleasure to meet this restaurant last year and I LOVED!!! I used to go there everyday! Always delicious and esquisite food with a little price. Everyday different great options, difficult to choose. Staff really nice, always smilling. I just tried another restaurant at the island and I got so disapointed, that come back straight to Vento Di Mare. I really miss their excellente food and incredible greta price!!!

My wife has been to the beuatiful island of Ventotene several times, and wanted to show me the island. And to make it all perfect, she invited me to this restaurant.To start with the view,- this must be one of the finest ever. The atmosphere in the restaurant is comfortable, and crew are really nice and helpfull.The food is incredible good and well prepered. The winelist is prepered for a great variation of food. And the prices are really fair.Perfect for an romantic dinner or just to enjoy with friends and family - we will be back

We found the restaurant through internet and advice from loclals.The food was excellent so as the wine from Ponza. Fish fresh from the local fishermen and huge lobsters (available occasionally). Very nice family managed restaurant in a nice cool garden.Also wonderful ice-cream to finish off the dinner!

If you are visiting Ventotene and you want to try the real cusine from the Naples area this is the place for you.I recommend you to try the mozzarella e prosciutto as well as all the pizzas. Salads are also great! I have not tried pasta, but it looked delicious!
