The waitress was friendly and very helpful especially as our Italian is a work in progress.She explained the ingredients of the many local dishes patiently and we chose a delicious tuna spaghetti dish and artichoke salad.This restaurant not perhaps the best choice for gluten intolerant people or vegetarians but otherwise for everyone else the food is wholesome and freshly made. You can tell the cook has talent.The pudding which was a ricotta stuffed sponge with brandy was delicious and the wine was good.The atmosphere is really super with lots of wine bottles and ancient weighing machinery neatly arranged in front of distressed brick walls. The lighting is not too harsh. I'd be very happy to take a friend there and it is on the 36/37 bus route so easy to get home from.

We went again yesterday and found the usual relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. I always enjoy this place where you can have a complete menu with a surprisingly big variety of starters and saucy Tuscan steak for an amazing deal! I love the familiar way they make business where you chat with the owner about tasty food and great wines and you never leave without a sense of great satisfaction.I strongly recommend it!!

We were stuggling to find a good lunch at a good price in Florence. Most restaurants in Florence are overpriced for the qualtity of the food. Thaks to tripadvisor we found this sandwich bar. It is a tiny place with only three people working there. There is no room for more. Seating is along the wall on bar stools. There is also upstairs, but there were no seats available. By the time we got our panini there were 2 stools free, so we sat down and ate our panini in a relaxed atmosphere. There is a good choice of panini and service is quick due to the 3 people begind the bar working very hard and very efficiently. The quality of the food is excellent and the price is right. This place is a little oasis in a town that is bursting at the seams with the number of tourists. We loved it!

My Fiancé and I stopped by for lunch and oh my goodness Iâm glad we did! We chose to have a slice of each on display and we were not disappointed, each slice was absolutely delicious! The base and toppings were fresh and full of flavour, we would fully recommend trying a bite of each. It was super busy so hold out for a table :).The staff were exceptionally friendly and very welcoming, we really enjoyed our visit

We enjoyed a terrific dinner here in a lovely setting. Bistecca for two was excellent, cooked rare which was perfect. Steak included sides of potatoes and greens. Wine selection was great and sommelier was helpful and patient. Made reservation via email which was responded to quickly. A very enjoyable evening.

This is one of the top restaurants we dined in while in Florence! The owner Allessio has made this a beautiful dining experience and he has an excellent selection of fantastic wines. The atmosphere, the candle lit at your table after you are seated, the fantastic service by Giada and the chef's fabulous creations! Such a perfect dining experience!!! We enjoyed a 3 course meal in this lovely restaurant just 5 min walk from our hotel. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable when it came to suggesting dishes (and pointing out when âtunaâ dishes may actually refer to pork!). Complimentary Prosecco was served and good wine. Although expensive (we paid exactly â¬100 for both of us), which may be a fair price in Florence but seemed a little pricey when compared to similar restaurants in the centre. Recommended!

Amazing. I dined here as part of a Gate 1 tour. The food was amazing and all you could eat. It started out with an anti pasta bar and ended with a plate of meat including beff, pork, chicken and sausage that was some of the best meat I have eaten. The wine was free flowing. I am not a wine drinker but the blue sparking wine, the strawberry wine and the grapefruit wine was great. Six family members who were traveling with me loved the red and white wines served. The singers were good. This was an optional dinner on the tour and I am very glad we decided to do it. Would do it again.
