You need a taxi to go there: 20 min from railway station, from Santa Maria Novella. You can eat on the terrace, overlooking Florence, or inside in an elegant old quiet dining room, or in a smaller room. Service very kind and professional. Good antipasti, good pasta, good risotto, good meat. We'll definetely go there again. I do not think it's too expensive but we were guest, so not sure.

We came by evening to observe the spectacular sunset and enjoy dinner. This was weekend, so an open buffet was offered on top of a full menu. Two of us chose the buffer and two the menu. The buffet was so-so, rich in choices but nothing to write home about. On the menu we chose the Bistecca Fiorentina which was superb indeed, with good antipasti of the traditional cold cuts. House wines were so-so and the desert boring. The place turned out to be expensive, we left 170 euro for four, quite a lot for such a far away restau with mediocre food.

Enjoyed a very tasty and genuine Italian dinner while on holiday with two teenage girls. After dinner there where no taxi to be found, and since the chef wouldn't let us walk back to our hotel, one of the waiters drove us in his own car. I know Italians to be friendly, but this was far more than one could possibly expect. Thank you!

Is the best steak which I ever eat in Italy. Bistecca fiorentino.Simply fantastic. Antipasti are veri nice.Place is not at the best location, but if you want to eat something special, is the right place.I garantee.

We arrived in Sesto Fiorentino late in the evening, arrived at our vacation rental famished, our host recommended AqAbA. She called made reservations and drove us over. Upon entry we were greeted very warmly, we explained we had reservations and were seated on the main floor. Service was impeccable. There was a â¬2,50 cover per person.Food was very good, nice ambiance in the restaurant. A very enjoyable dining experience. Total for dinner for 3 - â¬80,00. Very reasonable.

The restaurant is located outside the city, the atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet, good and friendly service. Typical Tuscan food and made good, a selection of delicious local wine.The sea fruit pasta is recomended.

It was late in the evening, most other restaurants had closed up for the night. Found Verderame by accident, but was very happy with the find.The restaurant is very nice, but I ate outside to join in the atmosphere of the live band out in the garden. The food was delicious, very reasonably priced and there was a selection of beers to try. A very pleasant evening.

We ate here on 6/5/15 just after arriving at our villa in Sesto Fiorentino. We ordered stuffed squash blossoms and several other appetizers. Squash blossoms were delicious. For my second dish I had the pasta with shaved truffles. WOW is all I can say. For our final course, my husband and I shared the Tuscan steak. It was ridiculous huge. We ate all we could and took the leftovers home with us to be used when we made steak and eggs in the morning. The waitstaff was very attentive (but not overly) attentive to our table and made sure that we were never without water or wine. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden. It was a great first night in Tuscany.

We were staying in Sesto Fiorentino because it is a convenient base for visiting Firenze and Toscana, and we were not expecting much in terms of gastronomy. Well, we were in for a pleasant surprise when we happened upon this restaurant. We had polpettine di maiale (pork meatballs - but it sounds better in Italian!), cod crocchette, grilled chicken, and a creme caramel with vinsanto for desert. Everything was one or two steps above our expectations - each dish with little touches that simply made it outstanding.The service was also very good, with just the right balance between formal and friendly. Really, a place where I'd be a regular if I were to stay in Sesto Fiorentino for any period of time.
