We visited on a number of nights as it was a busy bar with real character. We loved the native americal theme and the Mexican food! The staff were pure professionals who remembered our drinks on the second visit and who welcomed us each night! Must visit if you want a wind down in a bar rather than a restaurant

While doing laundry during a stay on Lake Guarda, we went exploring for a suitable dinner spot. We entered Lorena Bar Albergo to look around and the owner approached us and said they would be open later. He offered what we thought was a good valued meal. An 8 course dinner, fish based, for $35.00 for two! Well, we sat, were fitted with lobster bibs and watched the parade of fish based dishes, pasta and mussels come out of the kitchen, it was a sight to see! Even the other diners (a motorcycle couples group) couldn't believe it. So, what's the problem? Well, all the dishes (flat fish, shrimp, mussels, whatever) were soaked in the same sauce. There was no individuality to the dishes. We ate about one third, had some wine...then looked at each other in amazement at the +$70.00 tab (double). We paid it, enjoyed a walk after...and checked this place off the list.

There is no better view than the one from this bar.....the village of Maderno, Monte Maderno church and boats of all sizes coming and going all day.

You can sit on the decking over the lake. They offer nibbles with your drinks, and they were playing some quite funky music. Try the "red beer." A few couples were eating when we were there.

I planned to be here on a Sunday evening for live music, but the music was canceled due to an impending storm (that never materialized until later that night). Consequently, the place was empty except for another couple. I have to give kudos for the service mainly because the gal was so sweet and because they didn't pressure us to leave. We were so enjoying the conversation and quiet that we didn't realize until later that we were the only ones there and they stayed open for us! We had a couple of snacks, nothing special. But the setting is very special as it overlooks the wonderful lake and is isolated from the rest of the town offering great views of the city. It was a pleasant 10-15 minute or so walk along the busy main road, but a walkway made it safe. I imagine as a music venue, it would be lively and ideal.
