Siamo stati in aperitivo per un paio di birre, abbiamo provato la Nonno Gualtiero, una bionda non filtrata locale di Castel San Pietro. Bel pub scozzese, ampio menù tra burger e pizze. Unica nota di demerito, la musica trash hip hop di Mtv Hits potrebbero evitarla.

I had the seared tuna starter and was refused balsamic vinegar or any condiments to compliment the meal which can be frowned upon in top restaurants but never refused and this is by no means a top restaurant. It was over cooked (barely pink in the middle) and tasteless. The fish main, wrapped in pancetta, wasn't a moist piece of lovely fish as you may expect but a collection of tail ends probably found in the bottom of the freezer which had a strong chemical taste and was inedible. We waited for the desert menu for some 45 minutes whilst trying to attract the attention of the female waiter and gave up in the end and left never to return.None of us in the group had a good meal

On our way to Ravenna, we stopped for gas and asked the attendant to recommend a good place to eat. He highly recommended Trattoria Da Wilma â when we arrived we were amused to see the picture of Wilma from the Flintstones â adorable. This is a lively trattoria and pizzeria. We had a delightful lunch â great service â friendly and welcoming staff. My husband had a pizza and I had Paglia e Fieno (Straw and Hay Pasta) a dish that I do not see often on menus anywhere â both delicious. We enjoyed a liter of water and 1/2 liter of their house red wine â which was very good. The total cost for this delicious lunch was â¬20.50.

Really enjoyable meal.Staff were truly helpful and friendly. Really nice pizza (we asked for lightly cooked) and great lemon sorbetto.It appeared popular with locals.Great.

Apparently a lot of people seem to like this restaurant and this is why I went, 20 min drive is nothing to have dinner in the #2 restaurant in Castel san Pietro... So out of respect for others opinion, I'll just say this is the weirdest pizza I ever had. It seemed to be a giant plain cracker with some toppings. Hopefully, that was also very cheap but I still would not recommend it.Sorry as our pizza has not met your expectations but you should have read the other reviews bit more carefully where in many of these it was quite clearly mentioned that we serve a thin pizza......and we will continue on the same road as our guests are very satisfied with it.Happy new year to you and to your family.RegardsPannu, Stefania and Kamal

Its a great location, great food and great service. I turned up at 6 o'clock and the place was empty. I was asked if i booked which i hadn't. I thought the waiter was joking and i persuaded him to give me a table outside. Within 30 minutes the place was packed. You really need to book to make sure you get in as i went in May when Italy is quiet.Its well worth a visit.
