Ero indeciso se votare 4 o 5, poi ho optato per il massimo punteggio. La cortesia e disponibilità del personale è davvero notevole; la sala all'aperto, mi spiace non aver scattato una foto, è elegante e raffinata, anche se in stile moderno, così come l'interno del locale. Eravamo in tre ed abbiamo ordinata la classica pizza accompagnata dalla birra, oltre al dessert. Io ho preferito la "Profondo Rosso" (cfr. foto): davvero deliziosa! Come dessert invece l'"Appassionata", che ho scelto nella variante "nero di troia", ma era disponibile anche quella al pistacchio. Insomma, tutto molto buono anche se, ovviamente, la pizza da me scelta, essendo "gourmet", ha un costo più elevato rispetto alla media. I motivi della mia indecisione, esposta all'inizio della recensione: 1) in diversi punti della pizza il condimento, seppur abbondante, era concentrato al centro, rendendo così il bordo duro da tagliare e soprattuto scondito, ma può darsi che sia dipeso anche dalla incredibile mole di lavoro del pizzaiolo, essendo un sabato sera; 2) la birra heineken (lager) è stata servita con un bicchiere della bulldog (ale): ogni birra dovrebbe essere sempre servita nel proprio bicchiere; in definitiva si tratta di quisquilie che non inficiano la qualità del cibo, del personale e del locale, per cui voto massimo!

Si mangia bene, si beve benissimo, sinceramente la location andrebbe un po' rivista: luci sbagliate e sala un po' freddina influiscono negativamente sul risultato finale. Da rivedere.

The location of restaurant is perfect very near to historical building Castel del Monte which you can see on 2 cent coin. It is in the middle of olive and other kind of trees The foods are delicious and presentation like from a Michlen star chef. Do not think it is only a meat restaurant surprsingly we ate most delicious seafood we have ever eaten in Puglia region. I strongly suggest everyone to go there...You will not regret.

I have been really happy with the dinner I have had at this restaurant.I am from puglia and I was in Puglia for a week with an irish friend. We have tried many restaurants in this week, most of them good enough but but not yet as good as some of the best restaurants in puglia can be some times.Luckily we then decided to visit Il povero pesce, after having seen some good reviews on tripadvisor.We have had first the appetizers, which were:bruschette, pepata di cozze (mussels), prawns cocktail, parmigiana with pesto, graten anchovies, a small cake made of cheese, and 4 mantis prawns.We then chose to have one sea bass each, grilled. They were very big.And at the end we had cake, I had a cheesecake and my friend had a ricotta cake.Absolutely everything we have had was of superb quality. This food, plus bread, half a litre of wine, mineral water and limoncello came as 40 euros (20 euros each!).We decided to leave a generous tip because the price was absolutely ridiculous given the quantity and quality of the food we have eaten.The restaurant is also quite nice, we were seating in a small piazza in the old town centre. The waiters were very friendly and also, seen that my friend didn't speak any italian, they explained all the dishes in perfect english, which was really helpful.

Location carina e pizze particolari e buone. Tuttavia, il servizio sarebbe da riguardare: prenotiamo in 6, apparecchiano per 5 tralasciando la bambina. Una volta ordinato, ci aspettiamo che venga portato anche per lei quanto occorre ed invece nulla, arriva prima la portata e poi posata e bicchiere. Cameriera sollecitata ancora una volta per portare un tovagliolo. Inesperienza o distrazione del personale anche nella gestione dei dessert, che non riportati nel menu, vengono elencati dalla cameriera la quale nella descrizione dello "yogurt con cioccolato e biscotto sbriciolato" omette di accennare alla presenza di chicci di melograno e frutti di bosco, a cui potrei essere allergico o che semplicemente potrebbero non piacere. Ed infatti yogurt, presentato anche bene, lasciato a metà . Cheesecake invece buona. Tralasciando il personale, come detto, la pizza risulta buona come anche le varianti proposte peccato però non esserci in settimana quelli che vengono definiti come "impasti alternativi". Pochi, tuttavia, gli antipasti ed i secondi. Primi neanche trascritti sul menù poiché soggetti a stagionalità . Di conseguenza dovrei chiedere cosa preparano in quel periodo a rischio di ritrovarmi ancora con qualche omissione negli ingredienti presenti. Menu pertanto da rivedere così come anche il personale.

We went on the recommendation of our hotel on a wet Wednesday evening in September. The map on TripAdvisor was wrong, and once we found it you have to ring the doorbell as the door is locked. The restaurant is in a series of small beautifully restored rooms, and there is no menu, so a good understanding of restaurant Italian is vital, especially if you have any dietary requirements. The food is mainly fish but you can ask for meat, and is made up of local dishes.The house wine was delicious, and we had 4 small but excellent courses - we couldn't make dessert! Including 2 quarter litres of wine and coffee the bill was only 60 euros!! We speculated on 100+ before the bill arrived.Thoroughly recommended if you're in Corato.

We stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Located on the main street - active but still small town feel. Very nice contemporary interior or outside seating. Very pleasant staff and quite welcoming. Nice lunch - portions we ample, local cuisine and with creativity.Thank you very much for your nice review, we do not know if you were here just passing through or you came to visit some relatives, but in any case we will glad to see you again.

Sono stata in questo ristorante con il mio ragazzo il 6/8/19 per una cena ...Il locale molto bello, elegante, anche il personale o meglio il proprietario ( se nn erro ) ...Nell attesa che ci arrivassero i piatti è stato offerto un piatto con assaggio di una bruschetta, frittelle ai finocchietti, carote alla julinen con cetriolo accompagnato da una maionese all aglio Abbiamo ordinato come antipastino dei calamaretti ripieni di ricotta e nocciole, appoggiati su una crema di piselli, molto ma molto buoni , anche il contrasto dei sapori! Il mio ragazzo ha ordinato un primo, pasta con pescato del giorno, bottarga e succo di limone, mentre io ho preferito un fritto misto , devo dire che entrambi i piatti sono stati eccellenti ! Tutto accompagnato da una bottiglia di vino bianco Pecorino 2018 Per concludere abbiamo preso un tiramisù e una mattonella al cioccolato 95Ãvo dire un ottima cena sublime !
