We had steak, sausages and stuffed meat rolls. Served with roast potatoes and roast onions. We did miss though, a side plate of vegetables. Vegetables were not on the menu. The restaurant was rather rustic but clean and well served. On our next trip to Santeramo this restaurant will be the first on the list to visit.

Per chi vuole passare una giornata in allegria all'aria aperta può far visita a questo funzionale agriturismo. Si possono fare passeggiate a piedi, a cavallo, escursioni col trattore nella loro tenuta. Qui si mangiano sicuramente prodotti genuini della loro terra. Gentilezza e accoglienza sono assicurati, il proprietario Signor Pierino è veramente una persona speciale.

Dopo aver sentito parlare molto di questo locale, io e la mia ragazza decidiamo di provarlo. Il locale appare molto rustico, con posti a sedere in una via chiusa con di fronte una macelleria. Con grande sorpresa scopriamo che la macelleria è parte del ristorante, anzi si tratta in realtà di una macelleria che cucina la propria carne (ma che si può comprare anche da portar via). Guidati da una gentilissima signora, abbiamo scoperto che si può scegliere tra un menù fisso oppure scegliere personalmente dal bancone carne ciò che si vuole (consigliato). Scelta la seconda opzione, optiamo per carpaccio, 6 bombette, due spiedini di salsiccia, 2 salsicce e tagliata con accompagnamento del vino della casa. Dato che abbiamo completamente ignorato di dire la quantità di carne da fare, vediamo arrivare con sorpresa piatti più che abbondanti, non proprio per una coppia, al che abbiamo temuto anche che il conto si rivelasse molto salato, ma soprattutto piatti di una bontà unica. Ogni portata si è rivelata incredibile. La carne si scioglieva in bocca e la cottura era perfetta. Il vino della casa ha contornato dolcemente il tutto. In sintesi, si è rivelata una cena magnifica con della carne buonissima e cucinata in modo impeccabile. Quantità , qualità e gentilezza sono i punti forti che rendono fantastico questo posto. Un must ad Acquaviva!P.S. Dopo tutte le sorprese che abbiamo avuto, il conto non è stato da meno. Una somma che non ripaga neanche la metà di ciò che abbiamo mangiato. Soprattutto in qualità .

Very welcoming owners and staff. Dishes are big and diverse and you get to taste local Apulian meat. A simple and cozy place for a dinner out. The traditional "zampina" sausage was my favourite meat dish, simply amazingly flavoured.
