Cheaper than the others - as they say, follow the locals. This is a local eatery in central La Fortuna. Open until 11pm - a little later that the others or closes when the football on the TV finishes!! Good food, no frills, good friendly service. Not so much ambience as the restaurant is more geared to local football on TV, 4 screens showing different matches. However, not really a distraction and very good for a quick cheap bite to eat.

Excellent Veg restaurant, courteous staff and quick / timely service. Yelsi - the server is very very sweet and will go out of the way to make custom veg meals for you. A family oriented place and kids friendly as well. Freshly made juices are to die for.

As a vegetarian, finding some quality vegetarian, healthy food was a little challenging in the area. There's a lot of burger and pizza places but this was perfect for something healthy. The falafel burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The location was great for us as it was a short walk from our accommodation - well worth taking the 3 minute drive from town to enjoy this place. It's beautifully decorated and a real gem of La Fortuna. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Place is amazing! food is incredible! Service was great! The experience in Manpuku includes fusion food with Costa Rican ingreedients but a really high technique for sushi. I specially liked the Manpuku roll and the Godzilla (for those who like spicy... highly recommendable)Try the ceviche with coconut milk. We have been to this restaurant twice during the 2-3 pm time frame. Both times the food has been excellent. I must say that the service was better the first time we were there, when the owners were there, than it was the second time where not there. However, that being said we had an excellent experience both times. I recommend you give it a try.We really appreciate you opinion about your experience with us. We are really happy to her that everything was great: service, food and atmosphere. We want you to come back as soon as you would like. We wish you the best, Pura Vida!!

This is a very good place to eat if you want well prepared and tasty Mediterranean food in a casual setting. We ate here twice and focused on the appetizers which were all delicious. Service was good, prices were reasonable and they offer a pickup and drop off for nearby hotels and resorts. We went as part of lunch that was included in the power wheels atv package. Most in our group had the fried chicken which was great. I had the chicken casado which was good as well. Good prices.
