After sharing an average starter, my wife and I both had varieties of seafood pasta. The small portions appeared to contain langoustine in one and king prawns in the other, but this proved to be just decorative heads, with no actual meat. The manager explained that the meat was cut very small and was in the sauce. It was not discernable, so it seemed we paid â¬10 each for a small portion of pasta in tomato sauce.Le abbiamo illustrato come avviene la preparazione del piatto che lei ha consumato interamente . Non capisco perché ha espresso questa opinione ,( sbagliata secondo noi).

Been twice on my short visit to my hometown...The first time for family reunion dinner and the second time for lunch the day after....Was just a carousel of local sicilian specialities with fish and meat choices...Bring back memories of this square when was the local fish market surrounded by fresh fish shops....Service was like to be at home...very helpful at any request...We had great time with great local atmosphere and plenty of local choices to try the local flavours...Try any fish choices with pasta like pasta with vongole or red mullet or sardine beccafico...Been a chef myself when I come back to Sicily always try sicilian specialities ....I definetely will come back for the food and feeling at home....

On a rainy afternoon (tracking all things Montelbano), we happened upon this nice family-run restaurant overlooking the water. Our meal was terrific! Our soup of mussels was delightful, as were the caprese and pasta. The highlight: cannoli with almonds on one side, pistachios on the other drizzled with chocolate. Fa bene!

We had dinner here one night in early August. It was still really warm and we were looking for a restaurant with tables outdoor. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food at the Trattoria Ritrovo. Among the four of us, we had a selection of the dishes that were on offer, from fish to meat, pasta and pizza. Everything was delicious and the dinner was great value for money.

We chose Sicily mainly because we are huge fan's of Andrea Camilleri. His Inspector Montalbano Novels have made the character the most famous Policeman in Italy. We were thrilled to be able to hire a Driver/Guide for the day(best Four Hundred Euros we have spent for a while) We visited all of the Filming locations and had Lunch at Enzo's. The food was wonderful, best Sea Food ever, great service and a beautiful view over the Sea.

'Vigata' restaurant is my favorite place in Porto Empedocle where to have delicious food. I love seafood 'antipasti' and all kind of pasta with fresh fish. The ambience and the service is fantastic, wine included. Don't forget to ask for 'cubaita' a typical Sicilian dessert made with almonds, the chef can cook it instantaneously. I really recommend to spend your holiday or travel nights in this restaurant. Enjoy it :)

I like this place been few times winter and summer...a good drink remind me of London with some great beer...Food simple but delicious...The serve also Angus Beef on special nights..my only disappointment was my order "Tagliata" a typical beef salad from the north of Italy and with great surprise was just a nice steak! nothing to do with "Tagliata"!! We called only half an hour ahead and this very nice lady welcomed us in her beautiful garden and served us a delicious meal. We would have been happy with a simple pasta dish but got treated with a full meal - wonderful! We also enjoyed chatting with her and learning about her business and life in Sicily. Highly recommended.

I chose this restaurant in Agrigento accordi g to tripadvisor recommendations. Reseeves a table and waited for nice evening.Cozy, lovely place, seatings outside or inside. Professional staff and VERY friendly. So we started capinatta, really good! Perfect. I chose pasta with shrimps, amazingâ¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸My son eat pasta with cheese. My husband chose rissoto meditareanno.House wine really good.After we asked for bill, they did a surprise and i have got a cake with candle!It was so good! Rely recommend!
