Reviewed By 321juliustNice hotel and clean. The hotel is at second and 3rd floor. Generally the family room is quite big and the bathroom is quite precious too. The challenge is with old people not able climb to 3rd floor. Find that overall is good and comfortable stay.

Reviewed By esquire838Depending on what you want to do in the evening ie stay in and dine simple nearby then this place is nice and quiet with two 24-hr cheap eats and a chinese coffee shop. If you are looking for night walks along the esplanade then another hotel may suit you better. This hotel operates from 1st floor and have rooms on 1st and 2nd floor. No lifts. Its a shop-lot conversion type not a standalone building. For the price, you get value for money as they have satellite tv and coffee making facility. Ironing is in common area. They even gave me 2-hrs complimentary municipal parking coupon to avoid getting a ticket. Check in is a breeze and reception was friendly.

Buffet Breakfast ( Mostly Malaysian Menu but Tasty ) 6: Staff were nice and helpful 7. Owners take great care of the hotel and cleanliness 8. Good Location Sea front is walking distance ( Cafe Rasa Ria is 5 min walk, Best Food at a reasonable price ) Only suggestion is they must include one or two fruits in the breakfast menu. No REAL and RAW food in the breakfast menu ( All are processed food and sugary drinks ) Value for Money Highly Recommended

Reviewed By CrystalNgI was considering this hotel for my 2D1N trip to Pontian after reading review on booking.com and decided to walk in to check out the room first. There is a great discount during the current Covid19 promotion period. We went ahead to check in after confirming that the bed was comfortable since it was our main concern. However only upon check in we realise many areas of the room especially at the corner area (many hair strains) need to be dusted and cleaned. Thankful that the receptionist was very helpful and immediately came over and swept it for us although we need to clean up all the dusts on the tv and on the aircond vent. Pros: Bed is comfy, toilet is clean, Air-cons and heater are working well Cons: Room at the back facing the alley could be subjected to noise from next door restaurant as it operates until 1am. The restaurant operators set up a table behind the restaurant and talked loudly near our room and worst of all refused to lower their volume despite our request. The night shift receptionist was very helpful and immediately went over to request them to keep volume down upon our feedback albeit ignored by them. Will consider staying here again but need to choose a facing away from the backlane.

Clean budget hotel
Reviewed By boocik04This is a clean budget hotel. Above a Malay restaurant. This hotel does not serve breakfast but if you expect to get breakfast from the Malay restaurant downstairs, you'd be dead wrong because it only opens at 12.30 pm. The toilet is very small but everything is in working order, the bed is comfortable and the airconditioning is a welcome after a day out in the heat.

I would prefer if the pillows were a bit firmer, but they were not too bad because the hotel provided extra pillows. I had nasi lemak for breakfast and it was one of the best nasi lemak I have ever tasted in the many hotels that I have stayed at. And the coffee? It was really good. Served fresh when I arrived for breakfast. I will not hesitate to stay at The Corner House on my next trip.

Reviewed By ettraveler88We had a comfortable stay at the Princess Hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room, which has a bit more space and two chairs and a table. There was a reserved parking spot, so we didn't have to worry about parking, since this hotel doesn't have a parking lot. The room was very clean and comfortable and looked recently renovated. Everything looked new. The aircon worked well and there was no problem with the control. Staff were all very friendly. The shower had good pressure and the heater worked well. We booked directly at the hotel and got a rate RM12 less than Agoda.

Reviewed By Vez79Like any typical oyo hotel, the bed is comfy and room is clean. Ac is cold. They have some free snacks in the room which is nice. My only complaint would be during check in i was questioned about my nationality even when i have given my id to the receptionist. Dah bagi ic, jelas kita orang Malaysia. Jangan tanya lagi!!. Simple. Otherwise she was friendly and courteous and smile when interacting. Location is very near to the taman tepi laut and to some seafood places. There is a mcd accross the street and a mamak as well.
