Polychrono (Greek: Πολύχρονο, Polýchrono, IPA: [poˈlixrono]) is a tourist town located in the eastern part of the peninsula of Kassandra, Chalkidiki, Greece. The population in 2011 was 997; the elevation is 10 metres (33 ft). Polychrono is situated on the northeastern coast of the peninsula, 4 km northwest of Chaniotis and 85 km southeast of Thessaloniki. Best restaurant in Hanioti in my opinion we went 3 times in week. Friendly waiters efficient service best steak and moussaka.Try the stuffed mushrooms. Complimentary brandy or ouzo offered after dinner. Also help with my pronunciation of Greek and quick lesson in the history of Greek language! Brilliant.

Visited twice in september. This little family run restaurant looks quite basic and no frills, dont be fooled the food is possibly the best I personally have tried in Greece for Greek food.... chicken souvlaki was spot on as were the mezes accompanying. Moussaka was outstanding. Spag bol excellent... the front of house staff are all very lovely including the mum who is the chef. We still have a few more days left an will probably visit again

You feel you are eating in Rome or in Milan.There's a big variety in traditional Italian plates,I suppose it has to do with the owners.I was satisfied with the wine and the atmosphere was great.Maybe it should be a little bigger but in the summer and specially in Halkidiki it's not very easy to find big places for restaurant.I would love if the restaurant used to play Italian music,hip hop and pop is not the proper music for eating pasta.

Visited here on consecutive evenings mid sept. Its a stunning setting and the ambience is perfect. Service was a little hit and miss but thats ok if they get there in the end. Reasonably mid range prices however although the menu is pleasing to the eye on both nights the food was bland and a let down unfortunately. First evening I had pasta with prawns, plenty of food but lacked seasoning and any excitement for the taste buds. Second evening dry chicken breast in flat cream sauce and beef medallions that were like shoe leather with terrible creamed potatoes.... such a shame. With a great chef at the helm the place could genuinely be world class. It simply isnt and we were left disappointed twice.

We came last year and had lovely meals in this family run friendly restaurant. We came again this year earlier in the season (June) and everything was just as good! Lovely welcome from Freddy Donna and Marrisa. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year!

Worst food I had in town. Simple moussaka was very old and gave two of us a 24 hour stomach problems. They appear to keep best food for maybe regulars or people that spend more there. Best bit is 2 parrots which the kids liked

We went to Casablanca bar most days for lunch over our 2 week holiday . This bar offers nice food at good prices. The service here is superb, nothing is too much trouble especially from the young man who is the waiter here. Looking forward to going back some time.

Visited this restaurant mid sept, moderately busy evening. Nice welcome by the front of house man who showed us to a lovely table overlooking the sea at the back..... never saw another member of staff till we walked out 15 mins later. No offer or drinks, no menus, no attention from the two waitresses that occasionally went past. No sign of the front of house guy as we left.

I have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Polichrono, but the highlight of the holiday, apart from the beach and swimming pool was The Cockney Bar and Music Restaurant. The owner Marilyn is an absolute STAR and her food is second to none. You definitely get value for money, there is no other restaurant like it in Polichrono. If you want something that is not on the menu, she will try and accommodate you. She is an absolutely lovely lady who loves people and socialising. She makes you feel like you are family and therefore gets many of her customers returning just to spend time with her and eat her amazing food. Portions are second to none, you will definitely not leave her gorgeous establishment hungry. She will stay open until the last person leaves. The Cockney Café and the owner Marilyn are second to none.

This is the best one. We took - greek salad, fried zuchini, 500 ml white wine, 1 l of water, best one portion of calmars, lamb paydakia - everything was perfect and we have paid 38.40 € with tasty sweets included
