Amazing location, views, hospitality and breakfast!
Reviewed By Paul MLast minute decision to stay here as passing through turned out to be a highlight of our tour through Colabria. The views from the rooms overlook the national park and the premises very close to local bars and good restaurants. There are various walks straight out the door, either down to the river and valleys, or up into the hills. The family are very helpful and will answer any queries, offering good recommendations and places to visit. The breakfast in the morning will require a good walk to burn it off. The eggs were delicious and the pastries/cakes to die for.

The owner was very rude to us although we have only asked if they are open. Strange behaviour for someone working in tourism...

Incorrectly charged our credit card; no response from the hotel
Reviewed By Jean-Paul HWe tried to book a room at the hotel, but received a message a few hours later that the hotel was overbooked. No problem for us; they replied that the cancellation would be free of charge (which seems logical to me as it was overbooked). However they did charge the credit card for the complete day. We tried to contact the hotel in various ways, but they simply do not respond. As they only speak Italian a phone call isn't working either. Maybe someone from the hotel will read this and will reply...

Reviewed By slippery2This June (2019) was our second visit to this property and the delightful community of Mormanno. Staying at B&B II Fruscio is more like a home than the traditional B&B. Excellent, secure parking and a secure private entrance to your top floor accomodations, our "room" had a queen bed and an additional cot that we did not use, and a loft. Access to the large balcony with views of Mormanno and the valley to the west and north is gained directly from the room or the common kitchen and dining area. Other reviews address the many attributes of this small yet historic town. Relax in your private and exceptionally quiet suite. Hostess and Host Luisa and Bertino are third generation family from the area and are fun and knowledgeable about the city, history and sights. Be sure and inquire about the walking adventure across the old railroad bridge. Ciao............

B&B Happy Pollino is situated in an ancient family house, surrounded by almost three hectares of cultivated land. The atmosphere of the house with its big and cozy garden is relaxing, you can stay outside and enjoy the fantastic panorama of mountains of the Pollino National Park. At night the stars on the sky shine so bright that you forget what time it is. The three bedrooms are furnished in a simple way but with care, following pure elegant style of the house. All the bedrooms are double, one of them can become triple upon request.
Amazing farmhouse!
Reviewed By Giada FWe immensely enjoyed the Happy Pollino farmhouse and if we could, we would come back there even tomorrow for a much longer stay. The surrounding countryside was of a breathless beauty and it has been such an enriching experience to walk around the neighbouring properties to enjoy the mountainous landscape and the crops. In terms of comforts, the house and the room exceeded greatly our expectations. Cleanliness was impeccable and the room and bathroom had everything we needed. The house is tastefully furnished with an interesting mix of styles that in the whole gave the house a likeable and welcoming traditional Italian atmosphere. Everything turned out to be even more pleasant thanks to the lovely Inna, the house carer, who took really good care of us with her tasty breakfasts and infinite availability. We cannot wait to come back to Happy Pollino for another delightful stay!

In the lobby or in the terrace, our guests will taste and enjoy our hearty breakfasts full of typical product of the zone, enjoying the utter joy of the place, full of culture and traditions . The village Civita will give you many opportunity to spend your leisure time amongst cultural events and marvellous and breathtaking landscapes, making you feel part of our rich ancient heritage.

Reviewed By ceg51Very nice rooms but the house is hard to find. We parked in the center of town and carried an overnight bag to walk and find the B and B. Small but pleasant room and easy to walk to dinner. We did the walk to to bottom bridge 71 flights up and 2 miles. Strenuous but worth it. Breakfast was amazing. Served on the terrace with fresh orange juice, 8 kinds of pastries, bruschetta, fruit and the food just kept coming.by far the best breakfast we have been served. I had read previous reviews but nothing prepared me for this feast!

Camere nuovissime e arredate con gusto, la nostra era dotata di un balconcino, pulizia impeccabile, letto comodissimo, colazione varia e abbondante, sia dolce che salata, e con prodotti di qualità, a piano terra c'è il pub che gestiscono da anni e la sera abbiamo mangiato lì in giardino a prezzi onestissimi ottimi panini, taglieri di salumi, pinse e friggitoria, consigliatissimo, ritorneremo certamente per esplorare altre zone del Pollino

Reviewed By Metropolis79In the very far southern Italy mountains of Basilicata, this Agriturismo has an outstanding restaurant with premium quality self-grown vegetables and meat. The dishes are from the typical recipes of the region. The landscape is so beautiful. The staff extremely kind and friendly. Isabella is also an official mountain guide, and will help you a lot with the excursions in the surrounding mountains in the National Park.
