Calycanto is lovely. The atmosphere and setting is traditional and tastefully decorated in a simple and modern style.There is a real buzz to the place. We visited with a group of friends and were made very welcome and were looked after extremely well. The menu is refreshingly varied - there really is something for everyone. All beautifully cooked and presented. And if you request a variation, the kitchen will be happy to accommodate your requirements. I love that Calycanto cater so well for vegetarians and vegans - it's not that common in this area. Also the wine was great :) I would definitely return xx

It is recommended restaurant in Santarcangelo. Good food, great hospitality (very friendly for the kids). You can try local cuisine and home made desserts. House wine is very good quality (they produce it by themselves).

The beautiful town of Santarcangelo di Romagna Sometimes gives unexpected surprises like this interesting restaurant. The service is excellent and kind, very professional also in the explanation of dishes and drinks. The menu offers beautiful surprises that are never dull, the ingredients are of excellent quality and the presentation is really well taken care of. The garden is definitely the place to recommend if you go in the summer, medium-high prices, but it deserves them.

We came for dinner to this lovely restaurant in the heart of Santarcangelo di Romagna and found a nice table outside. Inside seating is offered in various different rooms and areas - all with very special interior. All service personnel was very friendly, helpful and attentive. This was the culinary highlight of our trip to Rimini last summer and beat any dining experience that we had in Bologna, which is widely considered to be the gastronomical capital of Italy. Taking everything into account, this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.Having finished at San Leo mid-afternoon, I suggested stopping off for a walk around Verucchio, solely on the basis of having driven past it on the way there and having seen a picture of the castello in the village. Verucchio is a nice little village and I'm sure once the restoration of the historic buildings is complete, it will become a tourist gem.This place is already ready for that. After a walk around town, we opted to eat here after reading the menu outside. It's entrance just off the main square off the town, does not particularly hint at the beautiful setting inside. It's a superb restaurant in a beautiful cellar built on the side of the hill. The food is very cheap for Italy and is presumably because of the size or lack of renown of the locale, but this goes to show that price is not the best barometer of quality. The freshly cooked bread served in paper bags is a lovely touch whilst browsing the menu. We were full after starters and mains, but once we saw the desserts we could not resist those either.As we had been sightseeing that day, I perhaps felt a little underdressed in such fine surroundings, but I was never made to fill less than welcome for a second. Truly superb. Traditional food (the real piadina!) and warmth. Prosciutto, salami and fettuccine at the top notch level. Try the strozzapreti alla zucca. Juicy meats on the grill. All local produce. good food, good service, good wine cellar at a reasonable price.

The restaurant is well managed an decorated, a splendid patio. We went straight to fiorentina, great! A bottle of morellino. Roby introduced honestly all the beef he has and suggested the best for us! A cup of handmade gelato paired with a glass of moscato grappa. Our dinner was perfect...the bill...quite fair;)Thank you guys of chiosco di bacco, we will be back!
