This restaurant is a real hidden gem. It is a family run restaurant offering excellent food and service. They also have wonderful wines from their vineyards. There are seasonal variety built into the menu and some favorite standards. To begin with, order the wonderful Jewish liver pate…to die for.
I have been there often will go many times more.

Typical Austrian local!
Big plus: the owners make everything themselves! They are fantastic people!
They breed Mangalica pigs and make the best schnitzels with their meat (better than any schnitzel I have had in Vienna).
This is a rustic place, all wood, fabulous authentic food AND, you can still smoke inside - however no smoking allowed on the Terrace - so I suggest you make sure you are not seated inside if smoke, beer and locals having a great time might bother you ;)
I loved it!! Had a great dinner and a great time.

Nice place and good food, austrian traditional with many dishes typical of the Burgenland region. The staff was a bit "mixed up": not everybody that warm and welcoming. But the food was quite good and the position is perfect, just a few metres from the lakeside and the beatiful and tiny lighthouse. You can find a variety of dishes, also good for vegetarians.

Sort of brandnew coffee shop, close to the shore of the lake. We have loved the fresh cakes , homemade by the female part of the young owner couple. We got the banana/Nutella cake and we heard that this is the choice of the village. Everybody likes that cake! We bought a full big piece to take away and also family and friends back home loved it. And we got another piece as a taste sample for free.
We wish the owners a glorious future and we will be back!

This was one of a few places open on a freezing cold March Saturday afternoon.
We had just taken a walk onto the frozen Neusiedler Lake and needed warming up afterwards.
Quaint cafe / bar, friendly staff and only a stones throw from the lake.
They also serve wonderful looking ice creams, sorbets and Deserts - but we were far too cold!!

Als Unterkunft sowohl für Wassersportler als auch für Familien geeignet. Sehr sauber und flexibel. Familienbetrieb äußerst freundlich und kompetent. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, zudem gibt es Meinl-cappuccino und Eier auf Wunsch ohne Aufpreis. Die Pizza ist schwer in Ordnung, vor allem der Teig ist gut gemacht..das Ambiente auf der Restaurantterrasse mit Ausblick auf den See romantisch, Abendsonne Incl...

The food served is very tasty. As a group od 7 people we ordered many different dishes and there was no bad choice and the prices are reasonable. I really recommend it. The only problem is the appearance od interior od the restaurant - it is dark and slightly depressing...
But from the food point od viee I really recommend it.

Der Laterndlkeller ist ein sehr hübsches Heurigenlokal mit vielen sehr guten Angeboten und ebenso vielen Weinen sus der Gegend des Neusiedlersees. Er wird von Einheimischen und Touristen besucht und die Bedienung ist freundlich und speditiv. Die Preise sind angemessen. Alles in allem sehr stimmungsvoll und empfehlenswert.

We came three times to eat at the Jagakolla during our recent stay in Poderserdorf, drawn back each time by the excellence of their cabbage soup. Although a soup this had the quality and flavour of an excellent goulash but with a little less meat. The menu was as one would expect in an Austrian heurigan including their specialty Kümmelbraten mit Knödel und Sauerkraut. A wide selection of local wine is also available.
